“what a gem”
Reviewed 6 June 2013

We have just returned from a 3 night stay with husband, daughter and her friend. We all loved the hotel. Hazel is very welcoming and is very knowledgeable about where to go and eat. The breakfast is excellent, we didn't eat in the evening but that's only because we were out sightseeing and walking. The rooms were spacious, light and very clean. The hotel was nice to come back too and get a good nights sleep, tea and coffee also in the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel as they made us feel very welcome, and homely without being intrusive. YoU have to try the home made museli, we even bought some to bring home.

We have just returned from one of our many visits to the Trelaske Hotel and the beautiful setting never fails to impress. Hazel always gives you a happy and warm welcome along with a tray of tea to help revive after a long journey. Not forgetting Ross the other half of a successful team who prepares the finest food certainly we have ever tasted, and we have eaten in some fine establishments . The hotel staff keep the rooms and gardens immaculate (and in the words of arnie). We will be back. ..

Room Tip: The garden rooms are excellent with their own private balcony or patio and with breathtaking views

Just returned home from our 4th visit to Trelaske another unforgettable holiday

As always Hazel and Ross offer superb accommodation and food of the highest quality in a relaxing friendly atmosphere. Hazel is very attentive and always approachable. She always goes 'the extra mile' to ensure your stay is perfect.

Ross is a culinary master. Every meal is a masterpiece. The menus are imaginative with a wide range to choose from. All ingredients are locally sourced. Meats from local farms, fish fresh from Looe, Vegetables and fruits from Trelaske own poly tunnels.

Treaske is so peaceful and ideal for walking and touring Cornwall. We will return!!!!!!!!!!

Just to let everyone know about our visit to Trelaske. PERFECT
The food was cooked to perfection and plenty of it. No need for lunch after the hearty breakfast.
Dinner, our fish was superb with lots of fresh vegetables, followed by gorgeous puds.
Loved it so much we stayed an extra night.
Hazels care and attention and Ross's food made this a very special weekend.
Thanks from Michael and Cheryll

Have recently returned from another visit to the Trelaske which is starting to feel like our second home (we wish !!). We were treated wonderfully well as usual by Hazel and Ross continues to impress with his freshly cooked and locally sourced breakfasts and evening meals. For fish lovers like us this is heaven although meat lovers will be similarly impressed.

Cannot speak too highly of this hotel - only hope not too many people get to know of it and make booking a return too difficult !

This is our favourite hotel of many we have stayed in and as close to perfect as we have found. We stayed for two nights with our dog in room 7, one of the rooms in the garden with a patio door opening onto the grounds. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and we did not hear any noise at night despite others being present up stairs and next door. Hazel was very welcoming without being overbearing. The breakfast was superb. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was the best 3*** we have stayed in, should be 4****. Hazel is very welcoming, nothing is to much trouble. We stayed in the family garden room, spacious and very clean .and comfortable. The attention to detail perfect. To wake up in the morning to birdsong and view the wildlife through the patio doors was an added bonus.Excellent well cooked breakfast. If your budget can stretch to eating in the restaurant in the evening, your in for a culinary delight. superb choice of locally caught fish, locally sourced meat and veg from the garden. The desserts are a foodies dream. Best of all Ross is not adverse to giving out tips on recipies to try at home.A very enjoyable relaxing experience.

Room Tip: The garden rooms are quiet and spacious
