Wonderful stay at Kilminorth cottages with amazing scenery. Beautifully renovated cottages with great facilities for kids to play and roam freely in extensive grounds e.g. football pitch, tennis courts and trampoline.
Bedrooms and storage were smallish but beds were very comfy - we got lots of rest! :-) Kitchen was clean and bright. Great open plan living area to chill or entertain. Showers refreshingly hot and powerful (only minor point - bring your own hand wash, shower gel, loo roll etc).
Bit chilly for us to use the pool this time but lovely to have in warmer weather. Hot tubs were a Big Hit! Nice even in drizzly weather and especially at night with funky lights...
Good place for larger groups - we went with another family and it was fun to be able to hang out in each others' garden or patio area. BBQ facilities available on request.
Wifi not so good but if you're really desperate, the staff can hook you up in their office. Otherwise enjoy the break from screen time !
Friendly dogs roaming around, we were just bit unlucky to have one poop in our friends' garden area. Really not a big deal if you're a dog lover and appreciate how relaxed this place is.
Looe is a lovely village with tucked away beach (we viewed the evening sailing) and friendly local restaurants - Kelly's Fisn n Chips a must. Polperro, Sharrow Point at Whitsand Bay, Talland Bay, Monkey Sanctuary and Polruth / ferry too Fowey definitely worth a visit with kids.
Jayne, the owner was very warm and forever helpful from booking right through to departure. Always responsive, she made this a very pleasant stay overall. Missing it already - thank you!

We stayed at this cottage last week and it was lovely. Mark and Jane are very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was finished to a very high standard and beautifully decorated. It was great for dog walks too. The hot tub was such a bonus!! Thank you for such a great stay.
We stayed in Apple Cottage for a New Year's break with our cocker spaniel and 2yr old. The location is stunning, the cottage was immaculate and fully equipped with all the catering necessities. We had a hot tub which was fabulous for the time of year.
The cottage is modern inside with a TV and DVD player. We had wifi though it was a little intermittent but we were still able to access the internet via our tablet & laptop.
There is a great walk through Kilminorth Woods to Looe and we managed to do it with our robust/all terrain stroller (wouldn't be suitable for normal buggy's). Looe has plenty of shops, restaurants and cafe's - most of which are dog friendly. The beach is sandy but dogs are not allowed on it.
One of the huge positives about Kilminorth is Jayne & her team - she was great at communication from the day we booked, when we arrived she was friendly and at hand to resolve any issues or give us tips on where we could go locally.
We can't wait to visit Kilminorth again in the summer as the grounds and facilities are fantastic.
