We went here to join my family at a surprise birthday party. I have stayed in a few hotels/B&B's in Looe and this does rate amongst the better ones. It has recently been updated so does look fresh and clean in all areas. I was a little disappointed that we were tucked away at the back of the hotel however this meant it was nice and quiet apart from the seagulls. The room was clean and tidy however the ensuite was very snug. Should you drop the soap then I'm afraid it needs to stay dropped (room 204) and the glass shelf above the sink is situated too close so that when you bend Mind Your Head. There is plenty of choice at breakfast time with a self serve buffet and should you get there early you are able to enjoy the views over the river. I would however recommend you get there by 9.00 although breakfast finishes at 9.30 as were were a little late Monday morning and tables needed to be cleared to seat us and we never got our coffee as they were clearing down all the tables round us.
Nevertheless I would recommend a stay there and will be back on another family visit.More
