“Tucked away little gem”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

No reservation and on a busy evening they still came up with something and we only had to wait a short time. Limited but very fresh menu, well presented and excellent pricing. The hake and cod were superb, beautifully cooked. Pleasant atmosphere and an all round good experience.

“Mmmm....nice”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

We stayed in Mousehole in April and visited this restaurant once. We did not book but the restaurant was not too busy at that time. We were advised to return later and we would be accommodated so we retired to the Ship Inn. We went back to the restaurant and a table was ready for us. I think on that night they had had only 4 bookings but a few extra wanted to try their food. There was only one waitress on duty but she did an admirable job in the circumstances.

The menu was quite pricey for a la carte but it was delicious and tasty and worth every penny.

The restaurant is in the heart of the village, a great location.

If you visit Mousehole and if you love seafood a visit to the Cornish Range is a must.

“Good choice”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

We had a pleasant meal here, with generally very good food. Delightful waiter and efficient service. Nice sized portions, but a couple of food items might have been more carefully balanced for flavor. It's a pity there is no sea view, but the decor is pleasing.

“Excellent Food”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Ate here 3 times while in Mousehole, it was the best we ate in.

Fantastic mussels starter and great choice of mains and one of the best creme brulee i have add outside of France ( who do it best)

Service excellent and they do an early diners menu which is excellent value and quality.

Highly recommend this restaurant.
