“Stunning location and very traditional”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2014

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and ate in the evenings there as well. What a wonderful place. Extremely pretty, situated by the harbour and wonderfully traditional with so much character. The staff are superb and a special mention must go to Eve who went that extra mile to ensure our stay was a delightful experience.

The food is second to none with a wide choice and fresh fish on the menu each day.

Will definitely be back again for second helpings.

Stayed here for one night on a Cornwall Coastal Path jaunt. Lovely traditional pub that does excellent food. The Catch of the Day ( fish and chips) is awesome. Really helpful staff. We were given a room that overlooked the harbour and had a lovely window seat... Big room....everything you would need. Breakfast was also good with various vegetarian alternatives. Its the only pub in Mousehole and its ace.

If you are visiting Mousehole then make sure you find time for lunch, a drink, coffee, dinner, or an overnight stay here.

Unfailingly pleasant staff. Decent food, decent beer, good selection of wine. Caters for locals and visitors admirably well. Ideal place to hole up and be cozy when the storms are lashing. Ideal place to have a drink and watch the world go by in the height of summer.

Gorgeous quaint village, beautiful bar, restaurant and accommodation at The Ship Inn.
Lovely food, both for dinner and breakfast, great atmosphere with fabulous friendly staff and gorgeous rooms. Breakfast is served at the most respectable holiday maker time of 9 to 10 am, so this is the best lie in we got!
Tiny narrow two way roads in the town, not for faint hearted drivers but you can park your car in the car park and then go and explore this stunningly beautiful town with lots of art galleries and craft shops, really worth a visit.

Room Tip: Room 3 has the best view of the harbour with wicker chairs in the window so you can sit and admire t...

Today we just had lunch at the Ship, the staff were very friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere about the place. The sandwich was very fresh and the coleslaw was home made with a fresh side salad. The portions that were coming out for the other guests were a large proportion. Well worth a visit.

Stayed for 2 nights mid heat wave. Plain but clean room above bar with amazing view over harbour. Only problem was the heat. No AC or fan, though the very helpful manager did try and locate one for us.

Good old fashioned pub downstairs. Would go back tomorrow and love to stay longer, when it cools down!
