Dairyland is a great place for all weathers, although the Bullpen indoor play area does get very busy and you need to remember your headache tablets!! Kids love it

We made this a priority day out on our holiday due to the appeal of the brochure. We were fortunate to have been able to visit during school term time due to young age of our children. This allowed greater opportunity to see the animals up close without any queing or possible disapointment. The staff were great and very friendly. The new born farm animals were great to see and you can be much more hands on than any zoo animals, so a great experience for children. The indoor soft play is very clean. The regular shows are also great. I would highly recommend to anyone with young children. Good value also!

This was perfect for us - we used the 7 day return ticket and went 3 times in a week (once as a full day trip, and twice when we had an hour or two to spare as it was so close to our accommodation and the soft play bit was great in the rain)

As said in the title, we're a young mid-twenties couple with no kids but after picking up a leaflet from our caravan park reception I couldn't wait to visit (big kid at heart!).

We visited in the Easter holidays but was quite surprised as it wasn't packed out as we'd expected.

The kind lady at reception gave us a discount on entry (you normally get a discount coupon from a brochure which we forgot to take with us). It's £10.50 for an adult without discount which wasn't too bad as you can visit again and again for the entire week.

Anyway - as soon as we walked in we saw families, kids, grandparents all having a lovely time and felt a bit awkward as we had no kids with us. It is predominately for kids with trampolines, diggers, sandpits, climbing frames etc etc but none the less I had a brilliant time.

Apart from the parks etc there's an old barn looking place which has animal pens in where you are able to pet the animals - this was my favourite bit! Ponies, lambs, calfs and piglets. There are also set times where children are able to have the animals bought into them and the keepers do a show and tell kinda thing.

On from the barn there's a field just to the left of the exit with goats, cows, sheep and donkeys. Again you can pet and stroke these if you like. Throughout the farm there are plenty of sinks and hand dryers and even antibacterial gel.
You can also watch the cows being milked at 3 o'clock which is really interesting.

There is a cafe for tea/coffee and light snacks etc or otherwise plenty of picnic tables if you want to take your own lunch.

You can spend a good couple of hours here (with or without kids). I really enjoyed myself and would re-visit again. If you fancy going somewhere to see/touch some animals then I'd go here. It's a very family orientated place and is very clean and tidy.

You're guaranteed to have a lovely day here :)
