stayed here for a few days.....booking in was easy enough, we had asked to be near the disabled facilities which we were, couldn't off been closer to all the facilities in fact, which was really great. disabled shower etc was well fitted out,bit discriminatory that if you use the disabled shower u have to pay £5 dep (returnable) for the key but again not really a problem i just thought a door code would be simpler as keys do get lost..., hubby says the gents shower block was good as well, we never managed to get breakfast on the site as we never found it open b4 we left in the mornings, but again not really a problem, but if your an early riser and up and at um type its handy to know that u will have to eat elsewhere, we didnt use the bar/clubhouse, we did however use the pool which was very clean and heated so enjoyed the afternoon/evening swims,,,overall the site is well maintained and a nice place to stay,,,,BUT no signal on phones or ipads and the wifi was in my opinion very expensive.......it says 3 days wifi so thats what we paid for.....but watch the small print cuz for £8 you only get 1gb, £12 for 2......we were in a camper so ipads are our only form of tv so the £8 1gb was gone in one evening.....we like to be out all day return evenings and just chilax watching a bit of tellie.....so im not sure we will re visit this site as others in the area are just as good and offer free wifi.....but overall its a good site if you dont want or need internet connection.......

We recently spent a week at Treloy, and although I can't criticise the sight I can't praise really? The sights facilities are ok, toilet block, showers both excellent, pitches are again good and lots of room. Unfortunately the website doesn't state that the onsite cafe/park chef only opens 3 evenings in the week and 1 morning, and the onsite pub/bar only opens at 7pm? I went once and was only person in there? Website too doesn't state that you are next to an RAF base so woken each morning to gunfire, not good if you have a dog, as we do! Wifi available but extortionate to buy! Campsite next door looked much better with better facilities, wouldn't book again.

Nice and clean park with good size pitches. Toilets and showers are modern and clean. The takeaway was average, ok if you've had a busy day. Also the swimming pool was quite small for the size of campsite, there were 10 people in the pool including my family and we were all getting in each others way. Wouldn't like to be in it in the summer.

Our pitch was right opposite the play parks which are good for the kids but when its 10pm and there are kids still playing in there screaming and shouting I wish we were a lot futher away.

All in all a good clean site which is ideally sited.

We visited Treloy for our annual August bank holiday weekend having stayed at the site several times before, and this time we were joined by two other families, even though the site was busy, we were very efficiently checked in and showed to our pitches which were large, level and adjacent to a large open grassed area, which suited the children brilliantly, they had space to play whilst us parents could "keep an eye on them" whilst relaxing!. All the toilet blocks and facilities were regularly cleaned and always plenty of hot water for the showers even at peak times. The swimming pool proved popular with our group and as the weather was great it was visited a few times, again very clean and we'll maintained. All in all yet another great stay at Treloy...... See you next year!!

This was the first time we had been camping and we were very apprehensive about it.
We arrived about 18.30ish and booking in was easy. The man on the quad then escorted us to our pitch. He told us it was a good spot and protected from wind. He was right.
The site was well cared for. There is a swimming pool and club on site and although they seemed well used, we never used them ourselves so I can not comment on these facilities.
The showers and toilet areas were clean and well maintained. Plenty of hot water. There is an indoor washing up area, which again is clean and well maintained. This is housed in the launderette area. Have pound coins and plenty of 20p if you use this facility. Also, there are 2 ironing boards and irons free to use in there aswell.
The shop has a few of the essentials but not overly stocked.
There is a café on site. The food is really good and reasonably priced aswell. The couple who run this facility are very nice people aswell.
Over all, I really enjoyed my first camping experience and will definitely be returning to this site again.
Be aware though, that you are close to the air-port and also I think there is an RAF base very close aswell.
Excellent position for commuting to Newquay (about 5mins drive away)

Our stay in July was our first visit to Treloy for many years having had many happy stays at the site with our young family. I can say the site is better than ever; Richard the owner and his team have created a beautiful site. The pitches are generous in size, well turfed with fields divided by trees, flowers and bush borders maintained to a high standard. The toilets, showers and washing facilities were immaculate with loads of hot water all included in the very reasonable camp site fees.

We watched magnificent kestrels patrolling the woods at the site which form part of an interesting nature trail/dog walking area. Other facilities include swimming pool, children's play area and games room all are well kept.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and all in all first class would highly recommend
