We stayed at number 7 atlantic reach (4 bedroom house) I read reviews before we went and found there were mixed reviews; but it was fantastic. There was 6 of us, all adults between 24-50.

Accomodation-Because the house had 3 bathrooms, it meant getting ready for days out was quick. Plenty of seating for everyone in the living room/dining table. Plenty of cutlery/crockery/cooking equipment with dishwasher. Hoover, mop+bucket and clothes airer provided. Picnic table outside was quite small so i would recommend taking chairs although we didnt get chance to sit out because of the weather when we visited.

Pool-the outdoor pool wasnt heated so it was freezing and never saw anybody in it. And the indoor pool was average sized but was always very busy; although in the late evening (8pm) it was empty

Location-It was 10 minutes drive from newquay centre, 10 minutes drive from Padstow etc. The actual complex is in the countryside but very large with 900 people staying the week we stayed. However its quick and easy to get to Fistral in the car. Im not aware of any public transport into Newquay so only ideal for people with a car I think.

Staff-everyone was happy, fantastic greeting from the reception staff after a 10 hour drive. Lady in the pool area was very chirpy. The girl on reception was helpful helping us find sonewhere to eat on our first night.

Recomendations-would deffinately recomend visiting Lusty Glaze beach for a great body-boarding day. It was £10 to hire a wet suit for the day and £4 to rent a bodyboard for the
day. Newquay town centre full of quirky boutique shops and plenty for everyone. Would recomend eating at Fort Inn in Newquay. A good chinese takeaway and chip shop in the village right next to the complex(Indian Queens Village)

All in all, fabrastic holiday and cant wait to visit again.

This holiday home looks the part, but when we arrived we had to clean it from top to bottom, including grimy floors.
There was a strong smell of damp in the property, but after an airing this went. Before we had even unpacked two of us were bitten by a flea in the bedroom and another actually saw a flea in the sitting room.
It's difficult to contact the owner as there is no Wifi (although it was advertised with Wifi and satellite TV there was neither) and she lives in Spain.
We contacted the 'cleaner' about the fleas on the Wednesday and she said she would be down at the weekend but never arrived, so not much use really.
The toilet seat broke, yes, whilst we were there, but it was badly corroded and could have gone at any time.
We were also accused of breaking two blinds, which we never did as we never opened the blinds!
One of the double beds is unusable as there is a huge spring protruding the whole length of it.
The drawers fell apart as we opened them, so I fixed these myself. The shower cubicle was thick with grime and you could not see out of the patio doors for dirt so we cleaned these also.
The carpet upstairs on the landing is frayed and there is also a curved mirror at the top of the stairs - both could prove a safety hazard to a small child.
The owner was very rude when we contacted her about the issues after our holiday and said we should have done it sooner (through 'housekeeper' who never got back to us about the fleas so no point really). She went on to accuse us of causing damage and leaving the place very dirty!! Hence no deposit returned!
We also had to clean a filthy patio which was strewn with palm leaves and burnt logs and cut down overgrown brambles to access the back of the property without risking harm.
On a plus side, the staff are friendly, the outdoor pool is lovely and although free children's entertainment is sparse during the day, there is a lovely soft play area for the smaller kids. Most entertainment for children is between £7 and £30 per day per child. The entertainment programme in general could do with a complete makeover.
There is no shop on site (strange for a site this size) so make sure you don't run out of essentials or want a morning paper.
In future I would definitely book through the site, so that it's easy to get assistance if needed.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that the accommodation was not up to your expectations, but as you have booked privately, and so stayed in a privately managed property, the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation was outside of our control. We would always encourage visitors to book directly as we have excellent standards and receive great feedback on all of our accommodation.

It is however great to read your feedback on the staff at Atlantic Reach and the outdoor pool and your comments on the entertainment are really important to us. We have been working very hard over the last few years to introduce our new entertainment program with a wide variety of acts on every evening through the school holidays, and have been adding more and more free children's activities as part of the kids club, with some new activities for the summer aimed at the younger kids.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Henry and the Atlantic Reach Team.

We stayed in a 4 bedroom cottage that catered for 10 of us.
The cottage was very clean and tidy and the location was brilliant.
The beaches were only 10 minutes away and the supermarkets were only 5 minutes drive away.
There was plenty of space in the cottage and there was plenty of things to do on the resort from pitch and putt, indoor and outdoor pool, gym, spa, kids indoor play area, outdoor play area for kids, evening entertainment every night, lovely restaurant on site if you don't want to cook, lovely bar and very friendly staff.
I would definitely recommend this cottage to our family and friends and definitely would go back.
Like to thank Jane for the great holiday.

Visited in August with 6 adults and 2 kids, stayed in 4 bed apartment , really spacious and clean , with everything we would need.
Enough on park to keep kids occupied and great base for visiting local area.
Entertainment of an evening , don't miss the quiz night , we won a short break in Sept , but don't think we will get time off to take it ! Gutted !
Would definately go back.

We stayed at the Atlantic reach for 1week during the school holidays, we stayed with our 2 children 1 6yrs old and the other 2yrs old, all in all this is a great park with a great location, only gripe i have is the evening entertainment for the kids was absolute rubbish, no characters or real childrens entertainment as such, there was a few games as in musical chairs/ statues but this felt like it was more of an hinderence, there are a few pics of a cartoon pirate kicking about but when the pirate showed up it was a little OTT for the little ones (More a Jack Sparrow wannabe). It wouldn't stop me returning but would ask that the entertainment team take a little advice from the other well known parks and up there game.
