Got two nights at a very good sale rate for the May Bank Holiday. We had a friendly greeting at reception and were informed about the good night's sleep guarantee. We normally stay in Travelodge's, so our room was like the Ritz! The beds were made up for the kids. The 1/2 hour of free wifi was handy, if a bit slow. Breakfast is a bargain for a single parent family; I paid for one adult and the two children ate for free. Though reception knew about this policy, the waitstaff wasn't sure about it, which made for an uncomfortable moment. The waitstaff was friendly, but either overworked or need more training; plates not cleared, and silverware not stocked. Also, the carpet was very sticky where the juice dispensers very overflowing. BUT, it was a cooked breakfast for a reasonable price.
Overall, We had a nice stay and the reception staff was really lovely. The location was easy to find, the parking ample and all the local information leaflets at the entrance were so useful. We'd definately visit again.

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel and had a great time. The lady at check in was friendly and helpfull and recommended places to see during our short break. As with all premier inns, the rooms were clean and very spacious. Room was on front of hotel so there was a little traffic noise but did not bother us. We had breakfast and dinner in the Table Table restaurant. The service at dinner was very good and the food excellent. The service at breakfast was not as good but nothing to complain about, again the food was excellent.
I would definatley stay here again in the future and can not recommend it highly enough.
Thanks to everyone at Quintrell Downs for a very enjoyable stay.

having spent 2 nigths at a Premier Inn in Truro and been impressed at the value we thought it would be a hard act to follow but no Quintrell Downs was equally good. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and best of all a first class bed that gave us a good nights sleep. The staff were cheerful and obliging. The Table table restaurant attached to the Hotel gave us a decent breakfast and we did have one very good evening meal and all at reasonable prices. In fact for Cornwall the food was very reasonable. Although our room overlooked the main Rd we did not experience any noise. It was pretty cold outside but the controlled AC kept the room at a pleasant temperature. When we go to Cornwall next time it will certainly be Premier Inns for us if only for the beds.

Booked a Premier Inn with some trepidation, having had grim experiences of budget hotels in the past. This hotel was much better than anything I've experienced at this level - spotlessly clean, room looked brand new, lovely corporate decor, friendly staff who addressed our two issues immediately, comfy bed and well thought out room lighting. Only issue were the pillows were a bit flat, but a request for another pillow was quickly answered with no quibbles. Woken in the night by people returning to rooms, but not sure what they can do about that other than the stickers reminding people to be quiet at night on all doors - maybe fit dampers on doors ? Otherwise, very impressed.

I stayed for 2 nights and had a very nice time. Very convenient for moving about. The staff were just excellent. Could do with a business lounge though for work.

We have just this morning returned from a night here. The place is clean and comfortable, situated just off a roundabout. We were on the first floor, facing the roundabout in our room (number 115) and though quite noisy by day, the traffic noise did not disturb us by night as the amount of vehicles was greatly reduced, however should you be a very light sleeper, ask for one away from the Roundabout. Our room was also above the main entrance of the restaurant but noise from people leaving was not a problem. This particular room seemed a little smaller than some other Premier Inns we'd stayed in recently but was not tiny by any means. The car park is shared by the Table Table restaurant but finding a space wasn't a problem.
We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the staff, food and service were excellent.
The Premier Inn staff though always present, seem a bit preoccupied. The checking Inn process was easy enough but on checking out, we waited at reception, 2 were on duty, one on the telephone, so fair enough was busy, the other was looking at the computer screen and seemed oblivious to us stood right in front of her, she eventually glanced up and said 'Oh, you're checking out' smiled. But that wasn't much of a problem all in all, we would stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the roundabout if you are a light sleeper. . . . And There is a lift if you sh...
