The location is pretty good and just a short drive from Newquay Airport.
The girls on the check in desk were friendly and helpful. We were soon checked in and to our rooms.
The room we had was clean and comfortable. The fixtures and fittings of good new looking quality. As sharing with friends I had to sleep on the extra bed rather than it being a specific twin. The other bed was a double. The pull out bed was very comfortable however and my nights sleep was good. Even though we were by the road it didn't really disturb me.
The dining is pretty basic but for the meal deal price you really can't complain as you're not expecting fine dining. All I will say is the fish and chips were overdone on the batter side and when I'd ordered dessert I was told it would take 20 minutes to prepare.... Not a problem for me as I needed a little rest after my main. BUT; after half an hour the waitress came out to tell me they had run out and would I like something else instead?!! I don't understand how it took that long to decide/discover they'd run out?
After dinner there is not really a bar area big enough to sit in for drinks. It was busy and all seating taken up. We headed across the road for a drink in the pub instead.
Breakfast is pretty average and the tea/coffee is not great as you have to make it with water provided in large pump flasks, so the water is not really hot enough.

Stayed here on business for 4 nights. On the whole its a good quality standard premier inn, what makes it better than the rest are the staff which were very helpfull. Rooms are clean and well kept, room was cleaned daily without disturbing my work stuff which is good! There were high winds when I stayed here which disturbed my sleep but you cant blame the hotel for that. Table table restaurant food was good and the service was great, personal things such as remembering where you preferred to be seated for breakfast and dinner.

Overall I would recomend this place for everything except romance.... afterall its a premier inn!

Room Tip: Get a room above the resataurant on the first floor and you can pick up the free WIFI from the resta...

Very good in all aspects .Accommodation was excellent and convenient from our point of view.
We enjoyed a good sleep and although we had not booked breakfast or lunch we decided to try both and were pleasantly surprised at the service and good value of our meals.

Stayed just one night on way down to St Ives to break journey. Very pleasantly suprised at quality of accomodation. The room & bathroom were spotless, it all looked very new. The meal in the Table Table restaurant was not too good but I think I just made the wrong choice! Defininately will be back.

This is the first time we (Wife and son of 8) stayed in on of the Premier Inn locations, and in fairness it was not our first choice, however the usual hotel we stay in Newquay (3 miles) was closed for the winter so Quintrell Downs was he most convenient. We had already seen good reviews, and this particular Premier Inn is only 4-5 years old, so all mod cons. The other major factor was the incredible price we were able to book 8 nights for.
We travel 370 miles for our New Year break and we had some reservations of stepping into the unknwn accommodation for the length of stay, but on arrival found plenty of parking space and this location is so convenient for where we wanted to be.
Check in through automatic doors immediatally gave us a taste of the comfort of this hotel. Staff were well presented in uniform and very friendly and helpful, explaining all the facilities of the hotel, the policy of guaranteed good night, wi fi, dining at the in house Treffey Tavern, etc. Key cards ensure additional security and access to the rooms are through key card corridor. A lift is convenient to 1st or 2nd floor.
We were allocated a room, which we found a little dissapointing size wise, particullaly with an 8 year old. I asked at reception if there was an alternative, and although this was through New year and was very busy, Reception immediately found another room on the first floor (corner) which was bigger.
The rooms are modern, well furnished, comfortable beds, choice of soft or firmer pillows and quality bedding. A wardrobe unit incorporates shelving, tea making facilities, with plenty of room for en extended stay. There are no drawers, and bedside unit has a shelf for storage. A modern flat screen TV, Desk(or table) and chairs plus settee - which is made as the third bed in the family room - complete the accommodation.
The bathroom is very modern with clean lines. A goog shower over the bath, and constant hot water made this a real pleasure .The rooms can be temperature contolled with wall thermostat.
Apart from one evening - you do not kno there is anyone else in the rooms, and Premier Inn are as good as their word to guarantee a good night or your money back.
All in all this was an absolute pleasure to stay here and a real eye opener to the quality of Premier Inns.
Unfortunately the dining and retuarant didn' t match the accommodation - But that is another review.

Very good expereinece, The hotel is situated in the quiet village, close to Newquay. Friendly service, good price for the room, nice facilities. An excellent choice for budget base camp to explore cornwall or enjoy the beaches of Newquay.

Great base for a break in Cornwall. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was reasonable priced and catered for young children which suited us. Would definitely stay again and would thoroughly recommend.

Room Tip: The room we had was plenty big enough for the four of us and was located just above the restaurant e...
