“Long wait!!”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

Only visited once had to wait 30 mins or more for just a coffee and a smoothie! The place really was not busy at all I think we were just forgotten, although I have to say the smoothie was absolutely delicious and the staff friendly.

“They do catering too!”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

We love Cafe Irie, and recently had them to cater our party.
They were fantastic! The food was truly delicious, the staff were so friendly & fun, and the organisation of the whole party was so calm, efficient & reliable that we had nothing at all to do or worry about & could enjoy our party as if we were guests. They also recommended a great band & a wonderful cake maker.
Would highly recommend them for any kind of party/wedding or other event.
Thank you Cafe Irie!

“Over priced processed rubbish”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat. As a party of 5 we all order drinks and had to wait over 40 minutes for them to arrive. When they did the hot drinks where luke warm. We order a bowl of spicy wedges and my daughter a fish finger sandwich. 1 hour later a rather over done sandwich arrived was one slice of fresh thick cut white loaf, no butter and two over cooked what looked like birds eye fish fingers slapped on an ikea plastic plate. Looked like my daughter had made it. The wedges where also shop brought tasted like m ccains spicy wedges. The only positive i could add is the chilled quirky vibe. They need to cook fresh yummy food, not processed rubbish. I'd choose somewhere else and give this a wide miss!

“They've made casual dining an art form”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

Gary and Jon are perfect hosts with their casual style, great music and of course superb food. They source a lot of organic products including their coffees, which is nice. I'd recommend cafe Irie wholeheartedly !

“Very good with plenty of options for veggies :)”
Reviewed 25 August 2013 via mobile

My husband and I have eaten here a few times, and we tend to choose Cafe Irie when we visit Cornwall. Had the veggie brekkie last time (very tasty) and halloumi wraps this time (again, very nice!).

Food is freshly prepared and there are plenty of choices for veggies - food made with some care and attention. Good service and good food, we will visit again - and I love the eclectic / bohemian atmosphere and decor, which adds to the experience :)
