We were standing outside, with our dog, looking in at the menu when we were asked if we would like to come in to eat. This invitation was welcome as it was rather windy. We have bought these reasonably price, but excellent, fish and chips to take away previously but never eaten in. The service was friendly and welcoming. The fish and chips, as always, second to none...cod that just melts in the mouth coated with crispy batter and chips with no sign of fat or 'sogginess' anywhere. It would 'icing on the cake' if this establishment had a sea view but a small price to pay. Better to have excellent food with no view than lovely view and rubbish food!
