“A beautiful cottage in a great location”
Reviewed 3 January 2013

We stayed in Wildflower cottage from 28th Dec 2012 to 4th Jan as we wanted to get away from everything. The cottage was truly lovely with everything you need for a home from home experience. It was plenty big enough for 2 and the jacuzzi bath was a treat!! The bed was incredibly comfortable which is unusual and often the only issue for me when away!! The area of the farm is lovely for walks and the coastal towns very convenient. There are a number of cottages on site and all look beautiful and the site is very well laid out. There is a great feeling of privacy and peace which makes it very special. You would struggle to find a better place for a holiday so make sure you give them a visit. Wish we weren't leaving tomorrow.

Room Tip: All the cottages are lovely so pick one the right size for you.

we spent last week in Badgers Cottage. What more can I say the was stunning was setting. It was cosy, comfortable & spotless. Had all the mod cons you could want on a holiday. Only 3 miles from Nequay,Polperro,Looe & Padstow all within a 20 mile drive. Take a trip to Padstow some gorgeous beaches on the way. Didn't think much of Padstow itself but Rick Stein's fish & chips well worth the 30 mile round trip. My only advice is to take real your time & be careful on the very narrow lanes.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in beautiful Cornwall. We stayed in the Spiders Web cottage which exceeded all our expectations. The cottage is beautiful, spotless clean, well equipped and a real home from home. There are plenty of board games & DVDs to watch on the huge TV if the weather is not so good but luckily for us the weather was gorgeous all week so we made good use of the fantastic outdoor space playing tennis, cricket, football etc.
The cottages are in a very peaceful location which relaxes you as soon as you arrive. It is a 10 minute drive to Newquay where there is lots to do and if the weather is good some wonderful beaches. We found the best beach to be Lusty Glaze as the sea wasn't too rough and was brilliant for body boarding.
The bed in the master bedroom was unbelievably comfortable and we slept well every night. The only slight negative was that you have to keep putting pound coins in the electricity meter to ensure you have enough hot water.
All in all a brilliant holiday in a brilliant location and in a beautiful cottage. Will definitely recommend and hopefully return one day soon.

You will not go wrong with booking this cottage, or any of the Hendra Paul Cottages. We stayed in Spider's Web cottaqe for 5 nights and were so sad to leave. The cottage was spotlessly clean and so comfortable! The owners (Julie and William) were welcoming and friendly, and provided us with excellent advice about local places to see that wouldn't have been found otherwise. Price was very fair and so worth it. We had an entire cottage to ourselves for the same price as a hotel room, and were able to prepare breakfasts on our own, and even have a lovely evening meal at home one evening. A little off the beaten path, but Julia provided us with excellent directions right to the cottage door, and the location was still very convenient to getting anywhere we desired. Plus was a roomy car park, and William even came down to assist when we had a little trouble with the washing machine. Thank you again, Julia and William!

Had a lovely short break in Badgers Sett cottage. Owners were very relaxed and welcoming but not over bearing at all. Cottage was very clean and the design and look of the cottage was well thought out. Books and DVDs were available as well as wifi which helped with an afternoon spent indoors due to very heavy wind and rain. The owners were particularly accommodating with our baby too and their recommendation of the Falcoln Inn in St Mawgam was a really good one. Can definitely recommend a stay at Hendra Paul and a visit to the pub.
