The lodge was fine, the room was hot (no aircondition), breakfast was nice (the kids loved the selection of cerials), parking was close and once again the staff at a Travelodge was excellent! Will use Travelodge again.

We stayed here on the night of 27/7/14 and had the worst night!
Yes, it was value for money, but no air con and the fan they supplied wafted round hot air!
The window opened about 2 inches, so no form of breeze could enter the room.
Really disappointed.

Not a cheap option. Close to a noisy beach where people spent the night. No air-conditioning and small window that could only be opened slightly. Weather was hot by day and by night so uncomfortable!!

I stayed here for 5 nights earlier in July Monday to Saturday with my boyfriend and it was fantastic! I rung up in advance and requested a sea view and boy did we get one! It was beautiful and I couldn't have faulted them there. I definietly recommend requesting a sea view! We didn't spend much time in the room because we were out doing things but when we did we found it to be quite hot so some air conditioning or even a fan wouldn't go a miss just to cool it down a little. We also struggled to keep drinks cold and think a fridge in the room would have helped. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They arranged a taxi for us and would go out of their way to help anyone. Friday night was the only noisy night due to hen/stag parties which we heard walking down the corridor but once we were in our room you couldn't really hear them. Overall very good stay and we will definietly be going back again!

Room Tip: Request a sea view!!

Clean - right in the middle of the busy shops, sea views, difficult to park as it's a Morrisons car park and you can't stay long so there's a walk to find a car park although there were a few not too far way.
Breakfast was very pleasant, suits mainly teenagers but ok for one night.
Very comfy bed, not hair dryer in room but think you can ask for one.
Room overlooking the sea is best and the window did open so got some air in.

Room Tip: Pick a room with a sea view.

Stayed for 1 night, got a great deal on room. once arrived, found there is no car park for hotel. they advise using across the road a train station for £9.90 for 24 hours. nice staff and always helpful when needed assistance. hen party and stag in hotel but still didn't get disturbed. 1 problem, due to hot weather outside and no air con in rooms, it was a sauna so very poor nights sleep. if had air con, we couldn't fault the hotel.

Room Tip: No Air Con in rooms, parking is at cost and not on hotel site

Stayed one night after extending our holiday in newquay. Room was lovely and clean, comfy bed and great quality fittings...only real grumble was the lack of air-con in a new build hotel is quite surprising and made for a sticky night. We had two doggies with us, and found the £20 charge per dog somewhat steep. Staff at reception were lovely and overall a good experience.

Room Tip: Pack a fan if your staying in hot weather.
