Such a lovely stay at the Seascape lodge! Owners are so, so polite... Couldn't ask for better! Brilliant location, 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach! (Which is great if you have kids) Restaurants close by... Such reasonable prices for breakfast, delicious too! I will definately be returning when I come to Newquay again :) thank you very much Seascape Lodge!

Stayed here with a mate whilst on a trip of the UK, Having stayed in St Ives in Cornwall, Our final stop was Newquay and we needed somewhere quickly as it was unplanned to be staying in Newquay. Right from the word go when I phoned the lodge, Claire was very helpful and friendly. I explained our situation and she was able to get us a room at the last minute. An absolute saviour!

We actually arrived earlier than expected and despite check in/Check out being busy as this was the end of the Boardmasters festival in Newquay. Claire and Andy were more than happy to help out and get us checked into the lodge earlier than usual!

As for the room itself, The room was clean and surprisingly spacious, The bathroom was spacious clean and had a very coastal feel to it, I nice touch I thought.
The lodge is in a fantastic location and less than a few minutes from Great Western Beach, It is also right next to a convenience store which stays open until late evening for any supplies you may need!

Every little detail has been thought out, If it had been a long day on the beach and we didn't have time for dinner in town, Claire informed us that it was no problem to bring Take-out back to the lodge and a bin was provided in the corridor that was emptied daily, rather than using the bin in the room which stopped those post takeaway odours in our room.

My only gripe was that we didn't book this lodge from the start of our tour of Cornwall!
From Entry to exit, Claire and Andy couldn't do enough for us, Would recommend to everyone. I shall certainly stay again!

Myself and two other friends stayed here for 4 nights. The couple who run the lodge are very friendly and happy to help. The room was clean, with bins being emptied daily and towels changed once during our stay (never normally happens in lodges so was happy!). The lodge is in a fantastic location and we would most certainly come again.

Very welcoming owners, breakfast was lovely. The rooms are sufficient and well decorated. The location is perfect as it's in the middle of town but also very quiet. Beaches are a short walk away and offer a huge range of activities like surfing and bodyboarding. All in all a great place and look forward to staying again.

Big thanks to Andy and Clare!

What can I say, it's just a really nice place to stay! The staff are super friendly and very educated about the local surroundings!

The room I had was lovely, and it had a fantastic shower which is what you want after a day in the sea!

This hotel is based very close to many of the Newquay beaches which are all within walking distance!

The food was really nice, the lasagne left a lasting impression on me it was that nice!

The bar area is very comfortable, very well decorated and the drinks are of good prices!

Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I've stayed here several times now and Claire and Andy (the owners) are always welcoming, friendly and helpful- they will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. You don't get that hospitality everywhere!

There are a variety of rooms from doubles to bunks, so it's suitable for couples, family, stags and hens, and with the location being close to the beach but far enough from the bars and clubs, you're getting the best of everything.

Pros - Friendly Owners, Good Location, Nicely Decorated, Clean, good shower

Cons - Cheap uncomfortable beds, my worst sleep ever, Parking is limited 3 spaces for 54 people, Ironing must be done in the bar.
