Me, my boyfriend and mum decided to enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend on a trip to Newquay. I found this hotel on booking.com and thought the price was reasonable and it seemed to have good reviews. I couldn't agree more with what others have said. The owners were super friendly and accommodating, with a warm welcome.
Rooms are nice with tea, coffee and biscuits to enjoy. There was a list of recommended things to do in Newquay as well as good restaurants to visit. The full English breakfast was delicious with a choice of cereals to pick from too.
The honesty bar was a really good idea and it was nice to chill by the window with a beer and enjoy the view.
The owners went the extra mile for us and noticed that our swimming stuff was wet, and dried it for us. I thought this was a thoughtful touch.
The only downside I can think of was that the toilet in our room too a long time to refill after flushing and was very noisy. This meant getting to sleep initially was quite difficult. Only a minor downside though.
