Stayed at Tregarthen for 2 nights and enjoyed the food, service and comfortable accomodation and all 4 of us would definitely return. Julie and Jim obviously work hard to maintain their homely guesthouse, highly recommended.

Room Tip: All rooms were excellent.

Really warm welcome from Julie and Jim. Stayed just for one night whilst visiting friends in the area, wouldn't hesitate to return. Comfy bed, really good water pressure in the shower, nicely decorated room, and an added bonus that the parking is off road. A real value for money gem in Newquay, look forward to visiting again soon.

We came across the tregarthen 6 years ago whilst looking on the internet for a summer holiday in newquay and have been back every year since. Julie & Jim are the most perfect hosts & friends you could wish to meet, the guest house is perfectly clean & well presented with all the essentials you need. The breakfasts are excellent with a variety of choices, there is a parking space for all guests. the guest house is situated in a quiet area of newquay but is only a 5 min stroll to lusty glaze beach & 15 mins to the town centre. We would highly recommend the tregarthen guest house and yes we're going back next year.

Stayed at this guest house for 5 nights and thought that Julie was very helpful and obliging. The room are very clean and modern and although quite warm ( there was a heat wave at the time) Julie gave us a fan which was much appreciated. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels supplied if needed. We were even given towels to take to the beach! Breakfast was lovely and you were given a choice of traditional or continental. You were even given the option of changing your order. We were so full up that we couldn't eat much more until the evening. It is located in a quiet area near some beautiful beaches and took us around 15 minutes to walk into the town which has a range of restaurants. Julie even supplied a fridge, plates and cutlery for takeaways. Brilliant service.

Room Tip: maybe choose a room that have a private entrance and own decking seating area
