“Top Quality B&B with a quirky touch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2012

Wonderfull, a great welcome, quirky fun decor and some lovely touches. Breakfast was great including toast using home made bread. The owners clearly love doing what they do.

There are some grreat places to eat nearby. The owners will point you in the right direction. The only reason that I did not give top marks is that in the room I had the bed was a small double. I think these days a kingside is expected.

All in all a great place where you will be well looked after by people who care.

Newly refurbished property with 3 en-suite rooms (no bath in ours), a very modern breakfast room and a living room for use if wanted. Good location only minutes from the beach with parking.

The owner is very friendly and is knowledgeable on the area.

A high spec finish that resembled a hotel rather than some of the 'old fashioned' B&B we often stay in (and also love). Added touches like chocolates and bottled water in the rooms make it feel worth the money.

Good English Breakfast.

There are a vast number of B&Bs and guesthouses in Newquay many of which unfortunately appear a little 'tired'. So what a bit of luck finding Bedlam House when I needed a one night stay. The house has been refurbished after being empty for many years and Mark and Carol have done an excellent job, the whole house has been finished to an exceptional standard. Anyone with any interest in interior design will love it! Breakfast, cooked to order of course, was very good. Off road parking is available to guests and a few minutes walk takes you to some of Newquay’s fantastic beaches.

This is top quality accommodation for the same price as many run of the mill establishments. I would highly recommend Bedlam House.

We have just arrived home after a 3 night stay at Bedlam and are delighted to report that the friendly service and high quality furnishing really did live up to our expectations. Great location only 10 minutes stroll from Newquay, which is just far enough to get away without having to use the car. Ideally situated for day trips or the surf. The fabulous Tolcarne beach is only a 3mins walk away with a great sea food restaurant that won't break the bank. Effortless hospitality from the hosts Carol and Marc. If you can get in, book now! Thank you and looking forward to a return visit.

Set in a quiet location, but only a short walk from Tolcarne beach and the town centre. The accommodation was simply superb, quirky artwork on the walls, we even had a barber's chair in our bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and we had a good nights sleep because it was so quiet. There was an excellent supply of various teas, coffee and hot chocolate in the room and biscuits! The full English breakfast kept you going all day, must be the best in Newquay. Mark and Carol were really nice and very friendly, nothing too much trouble for them. I would advise anyone considering setting up in this type of business to stay here a few days, because this is how it should be done. It was excellent and we would certainly stay again. Exceptional value, we really enjoyed our 3 night stay.
