Our stay at Bedlam House was perfect. We stayed for two nights over New Years and found the great atmosphere of Newquay was perfectly complemented by the warmth and generosity of owners Carol and Mark. We spoke to Mark on several occasions and found that he is very experienced in the hotel business - it shows! Our breakfast was delicious each morning, the home made bread is to die for! We were also treated to a complementary bottle of wine to celebrate New Years! The rooms are cosy, but designed in such a way that they work flawlessly, never feeling cramped. Rooms and all furnishings are well thought out, they clearly have a passion for design. Mark is also keen to recommend restaurants, pubs and places to visit, he's a wealth of information! I would happily stay again, and have recommended it already!

Rooms where clean and modern, service was amazing, staff could not help you enough. Price was spot on. I had a great time in Newquay and this little gem was one of the reasons. I shall be back to visit again with standards set as high as this!

Bedlam is a lovely old house, beautifuly and sensitively refurbished. Mark and Carol are the perfect hosts. The bedrooms are very comfotable and our bathroom was a delight especially the shower. Following major surgery I had not been allowed to have a bath or shower for 6 weeks. I revelled in it. The old dentists chair in our bathroom was a lovely touch. Everywhere was spotless. We had tea, coffee and hot chocolate making equiptment in our room and as well as biscuits there were also sweets the old fashioned kind. Breakfast was wonderful freshly cooked. Homemade bread made wonderful toast. I would recommend Bedlam to anyone. Only a few minutes from the sea and the town a perfect holiday destination.

Room Tip: We had the front double room on the first floor. It was large, had a very comfortable bed, plenty of...

Wonderfull, a great welcome, quirky fun decor and some lovely touches. Breakfast was great including toast using home made bread. The owners clearly love doing what they do.

There are some grreat places to eat nearby. The owners will point you in the right direction. The only reason that I did not give top marks is that in the room I had the bed was a small double. I think these days a kingside is expected.

All in all a great place where you will be well looked after by people who care.

Newly refurbished property with 3 en-suite rooms (no bath in ours), a very modern breakfast room and a living room for use if wanted. Good location only minutes from the beach with parking.

The owner is very friendly and is knowledgeable on the area.

A high spec finish that resembled a hotel rather than some of the 'old fashioned' B&B we often stay in (and also love). Added touches like chocolates and bottled water in the rooms make it feel worth the money.

Good English Breakfast.

There are a vast number of B&Bs and guesthouses in Newquay many of which unfortunately appear a little 'tired'. So what a bit of luck finding Bedlam House when I needed a one night stay. The house has been refurbished after being empty for many years and Mark and Carol have done an excellent job, the whole house has been finished to an exceptional standard. Anyone with any interest in interior design will love it! Breakfast, cooked to order of course, was very good. Off road parking is available to guests and a few minutes walk takes you to some of Newquay’s fantastic beaches.

This is top quality accommodation for the same price as many run of the mill establishments. I would highly recommend Bedlam House.
