Stay away if they have weddings. The wedding guests takes over and you can't have a relaxing meal with the loud music. Also a very noisy in the middle of the night when gusts return to their rooms.

It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Very spacious. We loved the fact that there were many very comfortable lounges, everywhere, on each floor with very comfortable furniture. i could imagine being there in the middle of winter with the wind raging and rough seas and curling up in a lounge with a good book, heaven! On a lovely summer day (as we were lucky enough to have) walking along the beach or pathways, sitting outside on the terrace or in the grounds.

The views from our room were wonderful, overlooking the bay as were the views from restaurant and bar.

The food was excellent. Well cooked, presented and good choice The service was very good.

We were made to feel well looked after and welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

The only thing I could complain about was the water in the bathroom was a bit too hot, you had to be a bit careful.

All in all we loved it and would definitely go again.

We revisited this hotel in August (our sixth visit) as it oozes charm and sophistication with a very friendly staff on board! The hotel is perched on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic and the views from the public rooms are stunning, whether you have just returned from the nearby beach for a welcome drink or you visit in Winter and enjoy the view from a roaring log fire. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished in blue pastels. There is an outdoor and indoor pool (both very popular) and the indoor pool certainly pacified the children when the weather was bad! The 2 restaurants offer a wide range of food and of course there are always seafood dishes available.Service is prompt and friendly and the meals delicious. Finally, the breakfast they serve has got to be one of the best we have ever eaten, and as a retired couple who travel extensively,we know what we are talking about! You can settle for the huge range of cold/continental breakfast, sample the hot breakfast buffet (everything you can think of) or sit back and allow the staff to serve you from the menu which includes pancakes, kippers and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon! Room service meals are absolutely delicious and surprisingly cheap. A truly wonderful 4 star hotel at affordable prices.
You will not be disappointed!

Gorgeous little cottage set in the grounds of the headland hotel - a truly lovely location on the cliffs above the Atlantic ocean. The cottage was beautiful & clean, well thought out design, wonderful views and relaxed atmosphere. The Terrace is a great place to dine in. Friendly staff who couldnt have done more to make this a very special holiday!

A fantastic stay - after just getting married the day before this really added the special touch. The room was 'out of this world' (very impressed with the TV and bathroom).

A massive thank you to all the staff who made the stay truly special and I would recommend this to everyone - thank you for a great time and see you next year!!

p.s. the view was fab
