We were greeted on a very rainy day with a warm welcome. Once we had checked in we were given a personal tour of the hotel, and taken to our room. All the amenities were explained including the new digitally controlled shower and room temperature that was installed in May 2010. We stayed in a Fistral Double room which was on the 3rd floor and it had incredible views from both the bedroom and bathroom.
We sampled the lunch menu in the "Terrace" resturant which offered a wide selection of food and benefited from overlooking the Fistral Beech.
Our evening meal was taken in the "Brasserie" which looks out onto the Atlantic ocean and its dramatic waves. The food was delicious but the service was unfortunately a little disappointing with some items being forgotten.
Overall we were very impressed with this hotel and look forward to our return visit.More
