“Great for young families”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

So refreshing to find a family attraction that doesn't have rollercoasters and long queues! Our children (3yr boy and 5yr girl) absolutely loved Lappa Valley and said it was their favourite place we visited while holidaying in Cornwall. They loved the steam train ride to the main park and smaller train rides, crazy golf, maze, playground and canoes! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We spent over 5 hours there and took a picnic - we would have stayed longer but it was closing! The café is really good value for money and served jacket potatoes, pasties etc if you didn't take a picnic... and the cream teas looked delicious! The entry price was very reasonable, the only additional charge was the electric cars for the slightly older children (but was only £1) - would recommend for any young families.

“Brilliant for families with young children”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

My boys are 5 and 2 and huge steam train fans, there was a lot for them to do and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. We had a brilliant day there. It has quite an amateurish, home-spun feel to it but that just adds to its already huge charm. Would definitely recommend it to others with young children, but probably not people with older children.

A great day out which was enjoyed by all in our group of 5 from the age of 2 to 72. A beautiful setting with plenty to do. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

“Fantastic great value full day out”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

A great day out for the whole family. Can easily spend the day here!
Discounts available online and in tourist guides.
Top tip - pay an extra 50p on entry pp then get entry tickets half price for the next 4 visits!

Includes 3 train rides, canoeing, fab crazy golf, and a maze included in price and a fantastic outdoor play area. There's also nice information boards explaining the history. Only thing that is chargeable in addition are the electric car rides. £1 a go.

Perfect for picnics or cafe food is yummy and good value, staff helpful and lovely. This place has a real family feel about it
Not so great for a rainy day as very outside with only a small indoor play space (really nice and quite new though) but we hear some bigger indoor play space is coming soon. Fingers crossed
