“A nice surprise in the middle of nowhere!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

Expensive to get in but all free afterwards. We went on 3 train rides which our 4 year old loved. Great play areas with swings, slides, diggers in sand, a castle to climb. We also played crazy golf and used the paddle boat on the boating lake. The maze was a bit of a joke and the queue for the tea room ridiculous but overall a good day out.

“Great day out!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014 via mobile

Really good fun day out! The little one loved it and so did the teen eventually! Loads to do and you can spend hours on trains, great woodland walks, boats and play areas. Fully recommend! Although the cafe is great take a picnic as you can get another train to a great little area to eat and plan. Some really cool history around the place if interested too...

“Great for young families”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2014

So refreshing to find a family attraction that doesn't have rollercoasters and long queues! Our children (3yr boy and 5yr girl) absolutely loved Lappa Valley and said it was their favourite place we visited while holidaying in Cornwall. They loved the steam train ride to the main park and smaller train rides, crazy golf, maze, playground and canoes! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We spent over 5 hours there and took a picnic - we would have stayed longer but it was closing! The café is really good value for money and served jacket potatoes, pasties etc if you didn't take a picnic... and the cream teas looked delicious! The entry price was very reasonable, the only additional charge was the electric cars for the slightly older children (but was only £1) - would recommend for any young families.

“Brilliant for families with young children”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 August 2014

My boys are 5 and 2 and huge steam train fans, there was a lot for them to do and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. We had a brilliant day there. It has quite an amateurish, home-spun feel to it but that just adds to its already huge charm. Would definitely recommend it to others with young children, but probably not people with older children.
