“Called in at this rather nice old house.”

Visited this National Trust Housedown some very narrow lanes. It was busy but maanged to park okand walk the short distance to the reception. We spent and few hours here exploring this rather lovely old house. The tour around the house was great and I was able to enjoy looking at many Longcased clocks and a fascinating repeater clock in the main bedroom. I was in my element.
The garden I found a little disappointing but the house the shop and the cafe were excellent. Really enjoyed the experience.

A National trust house is in a lovely setting very well maintained with plenty of interesting things to do in and outside, a very good eating place and beautiful gardens and extremely friendly staff.

This is a little jewel with lovely gardens and grounds. Today the staff in the Cafe were rude and unhelpful but the manager sorted it out. Well worth a visit

Easy to find and good parking facility, Trerice is a wonderful property to explore, 2 hours for house, gardens, good second hand bookshop, very good restaurant, NT facilities and an art gallery.
Friendly NT staff and very engaging too.
