stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and would go back as had a great time on every visit, cant fault the service well worth the money, local amenities and beach a short walk away. hotel is very clean and breakfast was lovely. A very friendly hotel that I would recommend to others.

Room Tip: I liked staying in the annex ( extension on side of hotel ) but all rooms acceptable

We arrived in Newquay with no accommodation booked and after driving for hours, checked into the first B&B we saw with vacancies and car parking. The landlady was pleasant enough and she showed us to an annex over the garages. We should have known what to expect really, as lots of old junk was stored around the carpark....,
The room was accessed by sliding patio type doors. The room itself was reminicent of a Butlins type shabby chalet and the en-suite was very basic and tacky. The pillows were awful, cheap and thin. Good job we were only staying one night!
Breakfast next morning was between 8.30 and 9am - we thought the time odd but realised that there was only one other person in the hotel besides us and it was the bank holiday weekend!
Cereal was a choice of 3 and served up already on the plate for you to add milk. The full English was OK but no toast and marmalade was offered after.
The dining room was rather grand (or had been in a previous life) but was in dire need of redecorating. I asked the landlady how many rooms they had and she said 30! which made me think why on earth had she put us in the shabby annex......maybe the other rooms were worse????
There were plenty of other B&B's in Newquay with vacancies as we discovered on leaving the next day. Wish we had spent more time chosing!!!!

Room Tip: dont stay in the annex!
