Booked last minute after a change of plan!
Perfect for a break with my friend. Clean, simple, but everything you need. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, awesome view of the town and beach from the room we stayed in. Felt safe and secure at night, which was good as it was just us 2 girls on holiday.
Towns just a 2 minute walk. The bar downstairs was perfect for us 2 and spent most evenings in there after dinner!
Couldn't of asked for more and already planning to go back, definitely recommend it.

Patrick and Rees are great hosts. Very friendly and run a great hostel. Its clean, beds are comfy enough, you can't hear the other rooms. They have a night porter and it feels secure. And the VIEWS! Panoramic picture of the coastline and beautiful sunsets. Whilst sipping your Cornish rattler cider from the bar. A cheap bin was damaged and a curtain rail too, but they were very realistic and said don't worry about it. Its good to have a manager who is realistic about damages in a hostel basically catering for groups of friends partying. Would definitely revisit, although hopefully there won't be another stag do for a while, I'm getting too old for the hangovers!

Great location for a stag do. Very basic accomodation, made up for by particularly friendly staff who can help with just about anything you need.

Those that reside at this location get 20% discount on the bar, which is another bonus!

The town is only a 5 minute walk away, the beach a little longer.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst in Newquay.
Basic Metal Bunk beds in the twin rooms, sink and mirror in the room - Shower and toilet en suite.
Rooms are very basic, but nice and clean. Breakfast is continental. (Toast and Jam) Cereals of all sorts and Tea/Coffee.

There is a bar downstairs, that is nice and cheap. the staff are great and friendly. - you will have other stag / hen groups (with all that implies etc)

But I will go back and stay. There is an ally opposite that gets you into the town in 2 minutes (Literally)

Great place to stop over, and YES I would recommend it.

Room Tip: There is no fitness centre - bug in trip adviser The rooms are all pretty much the same, I had 3 r...

Loved staying at Mor lodge, its perfect for weekends away on a stag do or hen party or with your friends, not romantic couples. Everyone is super friendly, drinks cheap, town is literally 5 min walk, so is the beach. Clean and tidy but basic but then who comes to Newquay and stays in your room? loads of things to do. I loved my weekend there, cant wait to get it booked again for summer. The only trouble was being three girls and getting ready and charging phones was only two sockets and the mirror tiny and too high, we were average height for girls 5ft5 and couldnt see the mirror had to tip top.
defo recommend this place if your looking for a place to stay in newquay as a group.

The Mor Lodge is perfect for groups or anyone travelling looking for a lively weekend.
The staff are friendly and will help you with your needs, from advising which places to visit to booking cabs and even recommending the best bars. The rooms are basic but clean and are what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend this for couples but I would stay again as it was great value for money. There was always someone about to help and they even let us check in early as the room was ready.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time! The lodge was clean and stylish with really comfortable beds! They were bunk beds, but that was ok and would be ideal for group bookings! Very close to the town centre and beaches!
