We booked this hotel through LateRooms after a last minute change of plans and to get the room we were allocated for £59 rather than £129 was quite a coup as it was fabulous! I can only comment on the room and reception staff as we didn't use the bar, restaurant or spa, but the reception staff member was really friendly and helpful and our room was huge! Even though we didn't pay the upgrade for a sea view, we received one nonetheless which was super! The room was absolutely huge with a fabulously spacious bathroom and lovely toiletries. I'd definitely stay again and highly recommend it :) Thank you! x

This is a modern hotel with everything that goes with that like thin walls, mass produced feel and enough plug sockets (a must!)

I refused the sea view upgrade at £20 but was given a partial sea view anyway, which was great.

Room was amazingly spacious for what we paid and room and bathroom were to a high standard of decor, even if the shower was surprisingly weak.

Staff were extremely nice and friendly

Booked on late rooms, room only, for £59 same day which was great value for money.

The Esplanade Hotel, opposite Fistral beach, Newquay is one of the best hotels, we who organise group holidays, have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Our party were treated exactly the same as any other paying guest which is not always the case unfortunately. The staff, in all areas, were superb showing great patience, understanding and kindness to all. They were efficient and thorough and couldn't have been more helpful to our clients and us. Unfortunately, all too often groups can be made to feel subservient to other guests. This hotel has got it RIGHT.
The restaurant was run efficiently, the menu outstanding with good and variable choices of food catering for all diets, ergonomically pleasing to the eye and always delicious. The chef and his staff should be very pleased. The entertainment and friendliness of the bar staff always made a great evening too.
We travel all over Britain & Europe with different groups and wish that other hotels would take a leaf out of The Esplanades guide book and do it their way. Well done a great stay which all our guests thoroughly enjoyed.

Room Tip: Would recommend paying the supplement for a Seaview room.
