Great location, very helpfull staff and an excellent restaurant. The hotel is well situated for beaches and walks. In particular Lusty Glaze, Porth and Watergate Bay. The restaurant is a hidden gem with a wide range of options including specials.

Room Tip: Front over pool or towards beach

Well it was good the first night we arrived we booked it again for our last night! 9 of us with 4 kids under 6 were catered for brilliantly! Food was far better than we had anticipated and the staff were very attentive. Outside garden with golf an added extra bonus! The only thing lacking was a little atmosphere otherwise very understated and well worth a trip for food!

We have just returned from Porth Manor Veor villas , villa no 12... The villa was just perfect , very clean, comfortable and well equipped and maintained. It was just like a home from home. It provided a great base for our family holiday and one which we will defiantly return to. You have all the facilities provided from the hotel should you wish to use them such as the restaurant for breakfast and dinner etc. but even if you just want the morning papers, they get them for you. Situated 3 mins from Porth beach and only 5 mins from the fab lusty glaze beach , you are really well placed for that traditional family beach holiday. You can't beat Cornwall especially if the weather is as good as it was for our stay. Go on give them a try , you will love the location , the standard of the accommodation and the close proximity of fabulous beaches.

We stayed here for a few days getaway in June and the weather was great. Nice location only a few minutes to the beach.

The hotel apartments looked stunning and the hotel was nice looking too. The staff were a little abrupt and we checked into our corner room with a view of the beach.

We looked through the book pack in the room and decided to eat at the restaurant. We ventured down and the atmosphere was just odd, it was daylight and empty and the staff looked surprised that we wanted dinner. We sat down and discovered that the meal menu was entirely different from that in the room pack.. A real letdown. We ended up leaving for the beautful lusty gaze beach front cafe for steak!

Beds were ok, pretty rickety and something would cause a loud clonking sound during the night, a pipe I assume.

Breakfast was good quality but the service was odd. I ordered simply bacon and eggs and got one bit of bacon and one dollop of eggs.. Normally you get a little more as there was no sausage or anything else... Let's just say I loaded up on toast.. But they ran out of butter!! So not great..

The hotel is lovely and clean and the rooms are fine.. It's just a staff issue really. We met the manager on the first night as he asked why we were leaving.. He was fine but exercised no empathy.

Not superb but we enjoyed our time.

We stayed at appartment 6 for a long weekend 4-7th July.

Check in was easy and apartment was close to car park up only 5+ steps. It was immaculate! Spotless and clean and well appointed. With a modern fully fitted kitchen and an en suite and additional walk in shower bathroom.

It was more than adequate for us 3 adults one with walking difficulties. It had TV in every room and was equipped for 6. We had no view and were not overlooking the pool, that said we booked last minute online and we were aware. For us this was not an issue as it meant the apartment was very quiet, and we were out most of the days anyway.

We did not use the hotel at all only to collect our morning papers and one evening to catch last hour of sun we were lucky enough to see. There is a lovely view from the hotel garden over Porth Veor and I hadn't been before but would return, it was a beautiful spot.

This venue allowed us to visit most of Cornwall, we went to Bodmin, Falmouth, St Michaels Mount - Marazion, & drove through Truro & Newquay. Ending with a trip to Rick Steins restaurant in Padstow.

These apartments have lovely furniture, comfy beds, great kitchens with all you could require. Our dishwash didn't work, but it didn't marr our stay. I would return.

Room Tip: Apartment 6 is spacious and on one level, good for a mildly disabled person (walking difficulties) i...

We went for a long weekend from Friday departing Sunday. We are 2 couples in our late 40s. The rooms were excellent, we had a sea-view, TV, tea making facilities and a en suite. We spent Friday afternoon sitting outside the pub, which is on the beach. We spent Saturday on Watergate beach watching the surfers. I went for a long walk and found it to be one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. We left on the Sunday morning, heading for Bournemouth beach because we wanted to split the 5 hour journey in half. Bournemouth does not compare to Cornwall. However, it was nice to have a 2 hour drive home at the end of the day.

The food (breakfast and dinner all local produce) was excellent and great value for money. The location is perfect as it's on a beach set between Watergate Bay and Lusty Glaze beaches, which are both beautiful.

We could only get one room via Secret Escapes, therefore booked directly with the hotel, which was worth doing.

We got lucky with the weather and will return.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are nice.

We have just returned from a weekend break in Cornwall where we stayed at the Porth Veor Manor hotel, which we found was very good value for the price. The room (12) was immaculately clean, if small for a family room, and the service was very friendly. If we had to find fault with anything, I would suggest that the restaurant could improve by having a senior member of staff overseeing the waiting staff, as although the food was excellent, on both nights we ate in the restaurant, our order was wrong. The first night they brought our son's main course with his starter, and on the second night they brought him two main courses! On the whole the hotel was good, friendly and staff was very willing to please. Again, the highlight was the food. We would certainly use this hotel again for our regular trips to Cornwall.
