“fresh food”
Reviewed 12 November 2013

This was our first visit to the Beached lamb. it was a rainy afternoon and we wanted a coffee and a snack. We ordered the vegetarian Roxy sandwich and the Tree fern wrap.
The food was lovely, the flavors were great and the food was really fresh. The service was friendly and welcoming. The menu has something for everyone, it caters for meat eaters, vegans & vegetarians. A mixed group of friends can happily eat without anyone feeling neglected.
We will be coming back

“Quite unpleasant”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

I know this is only a 'cheap and cheerful' chilled out place but this doesn't mean you can sacrifice quality or lie about things being homemade. There is no way on earth the guacamole I was served had been freshly made as stated on the menu. It was straight out of a cheap catering tub and tasted accordingly... vile. The chicken fajitas were grossly oversalted with one of those packet 'mexican' spice mixes and verged on inedible. Portions are indeed enormous but sadly quantity doesn't equal quality. Simple, cheap and easy to prepare food like this should be fresh, tasty and great. No excuses.

“Gluten free :)”
Reviewed 6 November 2013

Stayed near Newquay for 2 weeks and unfortunately discovered this place on the penultimate day. Quirky inside with a Moroccan looking room at the back - the menu was full of Gluten free options and the Milkshakes were on another planet. The burgers were top quality. Highly recommend this place - looking forward to going back!

“Great for vegans”
Reviewed 6 November 2013

Went there last week to celebrate Dad's 90th. All vege's and vegans and had great choice. All food was good and kids loved soya milk shakes. Would def recommend and is great to see somewhere decent to eat in Newquay after all these years.
