Just spent Sunday night here, me and my girlfriend loved the place, we wished we would of been staying longer, the place was lovely, very clean and the staff were very helpfully, welcoming and a pleasure to talk 2, we would happily stay here again and don't think you could find a better B&B

Me and my sister have just returned from newquay where i spent 2 nights at the metro b & b, the place was very clean and the lounge n dining area where very welcoming, the 24hrs a day coffee machine was excellent as u dont have to sit in your room to have a coffee or tea, emma and the rest of the girls where very welcoming and helpful with any enquiries we had, would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here with my 7yr old daughter for 4 nights (great deal as paid 3 nights). Clean and modern rooms, all decked out in Ikea space saver furnishings. Lovely modern reception area too. Very unlike any B&B I've stayed at which usually looks like someone's nan's house! The breakfast was a bit repetitive but always plentiful. Its quite a walk into the main town and sadly as the weather was pretty poor when we stayed we ended up driving most nights and parking isn't cheap as there wasn't really anywhere close by to go and eat. However they are very obliging and you can take your own food and takeaways into the dining area to eat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend it, very lovely place to stay!

The Metro is located on the outskirts of Newquay. Described as a b & b, it is more like a small chic boutique hotel. The en suite rooms are spacious, well furnished in modern style with flat screen tv and tea making facilities. Extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The Metro offers a sumptuous buffet breakfast with something for everyone's taste. This is taken in the light, airy, dining room which, with crockery, cutlery and coffee machine supplied, can also be used to "eat in" in the evening. The reception staff are very friendly, very helpful - and very pretty ! The Metro makes an ideal base for touring as anywhere in Cornwall is within easy reach and there are some terrific beaches right on the doorstep and it offers excellent value for money. We will certainly use it again.Tip for motorists - Morrisons Supermarket at Newquay has the cheapest petrol in Cornwall.

Room Tip: The rooms are all good.

We have just returned from a long weekend stay at this B&B, stayed for 3 nights but only paid for 2 ( this was a deal when we booked ) well what a bargain it was so worth the money i must add. Checking in was simlple and quick with very pleasant staff. Reception and dining area were very spacious and well kept, with a large screen TV and computor with free WiFi for guests. We stayed in room No 16, our 1st impressions were mmmm very nice the room met all of our requirements, which were clean, well decorated, with an en-suite shower & toilet, electric wall heater, tea & coffee making facilities, clean towels on your bed, hairdryer, clothes hangers, TV and if needed an iron & ironing board at request just ask in reception. Breakfast was on a help yourself basis to cereals, crumpets, toast, variety of jams etc, croissants (has a warmer) fresh fruit, yoghurts, fresh orange and a machine for tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. All you need to do is tidy up after yourself and place dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the staff do the rest. Breakfast finishes at 11.00am but you can have drinks from the machine anytime day or night. We were down visiting family of whom come to meet us at the metro they were allowed to come in and have a hot drink with us, we offered to pay for their drinks but the staff said No. There are menu's in reception if you want to have a takeawy delivered, but you must eat it in the dining area not your room that was fine by us. There's NO time curfew come & go as you please if nobody is on reception they give you door code to get in and the managers telephone number if any problem. The town of newquay is only say 30min walk or 5min drive so well located this B&B. All in all we loved this little B&B and would definately return again, a big THANK YOU to all the staff fo your friendliness you probably know who we are Me (redruth girl) & Partner from stoke..........
