Third visit to the Wild cafe, this time on mothers day. Very good starter of smoked venison and very nice roast pork and roast beef with veg. But disappointed that there was no crackling or stuffing for the pork, and I had to ask three times for some horseradish sauce and apple sauce. It would have been helpful to have serving spoons to help ourselves to the veg instead of forks. Limited choice of desserts which apart from the cheese board were all hearty puddings, two of which contained nuts (which I can't eat). It would be nice to have a lighter choice after a large roast dinner i.e. fresh fruit salad, pavlova, sorbet etc. I had the rice pudding which was very stodgy and thick, so I had the jam and left the rice pudding. Other members had different desserts and were not impressed. service poor - we were all given forks again to eat our. puddings. Has the cafe run out of spoons? Whilst we were eating our pudding staff were sweeping the floor and we felt that we were being hurried out as there was a birthday party arriving. Has there been a change of management as service seemed rather slapdash. I'm afraid we will not be returning if standards remain the same

The restaurant is bright and airy with wonderful sea views. the food choice is wholesome and home made. The bread especially is delicious with home produced hummus.

Absolutely beautiful, delicious food. I can't fault a thing and service was attentive without being overbearing.

After my girlfriend and I left the spa we went here for a very affordable meal (£35 for evening spa and 2 course meal and Prosecco - hotel's website deal). The starters were very good and whilst the main meal (pizza) was a little dry, the overall service we received was attentive and conversational. We also had cocktails, which were a bit expensive for what they were, and not as fulfilling as their names implied. However, we came away from the meal generally feeling satisfied and well-looked after.
