Dropped in for some tea - made more enjoyable by the stunning views. Came at low tide, and will return to see the difference at high tide. Free parking too.

Lovely reasonably priced food with lovely views. On a nice day it's lovely to sit outside on the split level terrace

This must be virtually the only cafe which catches its own crabs (and sells them) The view over the Gannel and Crantock is stunning as well. The crab sarnies can't be bettered.

We were looking for somewhere for a light lunch, hadn't really explored this part of Newquay before.
Sandwiches hot drinks and a bowl of chips for 4 of us, were freshly made, excellent value and put together with the view of the river made it an experience to remember.
Worth trying, service very good, a bit basic inside but don't be put off.

we walked up the steps from the beach which was a killer but worth it!!....had a cream tea...bit expensive as they dont do it as a set you have to buy separate but was lovely. amazing view and we sat outside feeling very relaxed. wish they had pasties or sausage rolls on the menu as we wanted to take them down to the beach but overall was lovely and would eat here again.
