Description: More than 100 summer jobs have been created in Newquay with the opening of a new £2m pub. The Cribbar will employ 130 in the peak holiday season and about half that at other times, said operator JD Wetherspoon. It takes its name from the Cribbar reef, which stretches out under the sea from Towan Head. Newquay Safe, a partnership of local authorities and police, welcomed the new pub.

Really surprised that this wetherspoons had really enjoyable food. Nice atmosphere and spacious premises. Clean for a wetherspoons too. Definitely one of the better ones.

Typical Weatherspoons menu, very good value, gets cheaper if you add soft drinks !!! Very clean, spotless toilets, prompt service, very warm atmosphere on a cold, wet day. Highly recommended

this is a weathrspoons,do not be put off that it is a bar.in reality it is a really good place for breakfast and lunch,no need to drink alcohol ,plenty of low cost alternatives.staff really friendly and helpful.you can get a full or veggie breakfast and all the coffee you want for about £4.nowhere in newquay gets anywhere near it,no wonder it has become a meeting spot for the locals...

Visited the bar on a number of occasions over the new year. Staff very friendly, food very good and great prices for drinks. Great evening there on New Year's Eve with some great costumes. Certainly would return and some bespoke concrete chesterfields outside amazing furniture looks like the real thing
