What an amazing find anyone visiting Newquay should make the effort to find this little gem, the food and service were outstanding, we hadn't booked but were fortunate enough to grab the last table, we sat at the front of the restaurant giving us an excellent view of the small but functional open kitchen, we had the tasting plate starter and watched as the spring rolls were hand rolled to Order, you can't get fresher than that!! For my main course I had the pad Thai which is one of my favourite dishes ever and this did not disappoint with a great balance between hot chilli and fresh zingy lime, after 2 courses we were pretty full but as the quality of the good had been so good it seemed wrong not to try a dessert especially as many restaurants do not put the effort in when it comes to desserts, we shared a piece of the white chocolate and passion fruit cheesecake and again it was amazing and the coconut ice cream that accompanied it was creamy and refreshing

I cannot rate this place highly enough everything from food to service and even price was brilliant

Lovely welcome as we walked through the door. All 3 members of staff acknowledged our arrival. Water appeared on the table without having to ask for it. Food was delicious and plenty of choices to suit all tastes. Wine was sensibly priced and, again, plenty of choice. Everything was very positive, save for the fact that as more people arrived, the noise levels went up and it did become difficult not to overhear every other diner's conversation. This is due to the premises being rather small. However, the attentiveness of the friendly waitress more than compensated. We will certainly return.

Followed a TA recommendation and we have definitely not been disappointed: Little Kahuna was a great experience! The service was really attentive and friendly. Food was excellent and my girl friend and I still discuss the taste of the excellent starters. Tempurar shrimps are easy to prepare but hard to prepare well but they made it the best experience ever. Coming from Indonesian heritage it tends to be risky to order Rendang but I enjoyed every bite of the Little Kahuna version. The open kitchen allows a look how the food is prepared with love and this adds to the taste. Will def recommend and come back

Wow!! Prior to the little kahuna iv never tried Indonesian food and I have to say I have never tasted something so delicious. I cannot fault the service the waitress was very friendly. We were never left without water on the table and was very accommodating when we asked what the different sauces were and where we could get them from.
definitely worth a visit
