We went to pub after searching for a dog friendly pub that was a. Open and b. Doing Sunday roast.
Arrived after following the signs. Not hard to find just keep going down the hill!!!!
Parked in large car park and walked across the road to a lovely looking and welcoming pub.
We had booked an hour earlier, because there was 8 of us and sometimes it's a bit difficult to get a walk in table on a Sunday.
We were greeted by a smiling happy waitress and shown straight to our table.
It was table service so they took our drinks order and food order. 8 roast dinner ordered. The drinks arrived. A good ale choice.
Dinner arrived and it was hot and well presented. Good selection of fresh vegetables. Sauces were offered straight away and came immediately.
Food was really good and roasters were super.
Choice of pudding was limited to four in the meal deal but all homemade and delicious. We were offered the normal menu if we wanted a larger choice. No need all served hot and delicious.
We had to force ourselves to leave and start the long drive home but we will be going back every time we are down in the area.
Well done to everyone at the pub for a quality and well run public house..
