We have nothing but praise for this great hotel, we return year after year to spend 10 days in August. The welcome is warm, the rooms are clean and comfortable and you only have to hear Fiona's laugh to know your in for a good holiday. The hotel is one of the few that has an outdoor pool, which Aiden checks daily, as it is to be found in the garden it cannot be helped if the odd insect decides to take a dip. As for the food,it's wonderful there is a varied menu available ever evening and we along with many of the regulars we look forward to the evening when Liz cooks Steak Pie. We book our rooms for the following years visit to ensure we are not dissappointed and would like to thank Fiona, Judith and all the staff for yet again for ensuring we have a enjoyable holiday.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a balcony and sea view

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend break. We arrived early and were allowed to check in early which was really great. The room was a good size room with most of the facilities we required. Only one problem (which was quite a bit one) and that was no shower in the bathroom. I dislike baths and the hand shower attachment did not work properly either. But saying that, this was the only problem with the whole stay. The owner and staff are brilliant, always smiling and helpful. There was a couple of parties in the evenings whilst we were staying there and we were invited to join in on one occasion, the other party was for children and ended early. Breakfast was first class on both mornings. On the day of check out we could leave our car there the whole day and continue to use the pool and other facilities until we left which was great as it was a lovely hot day so a swim before we travelled home was refreshing.
The location of the hotel is perfect for the beaches and restaurants in Newquay too.

"I wish we could come here more often", was the comment used by my son throughout our stay. We have visited the Priory Lodge Hotel for the last 15 years and it never dissapoints. Fantastic food ( ESP home made steak and ale pie), friendly staff, excellent service, exceptionally clean, warm swimming pool and the best entertainment ever - oo arr oo arr!

We stayed two nights for a mid-week break. Very friendly and helpful staff and satisfying breakfast. Decor ok but a little tired and probably works best for family stays. Very well placed for walking into the centre of Newquay.

Got back yesterday, 1st time of staying at the priory. Tried to book online but PayPal was playing up so I phoned them. ( Last minute booking for my birthday ) Extremely helpful and very friendly. The same can be said for arrival. The couple checking in before us had stayed there many times before and were treated like old friends, clean, luvli building with great views and excellent location, far enough out the way to be quiet but near enough to the action to have a pleasant walk into town :) breakfast was beautiful too , definitely staying here when we return to Newquay for the run for the sun next year.
