“Amazing!”

I've never written a review on trip advisor before but I just had to after staying here. I can't add much to what has already been said but this hotel is small enough to give that personal touch where nothing is too much trouble whilst being big enough to have all the facilities you need. The location is excellent, 5 mins walk to town and beach and plenty of parking at hotel. The pool is excellent, warm and clean and we had a poolside room which was brilliant for me and my six year old. Breakfast was well organised and there were fresh pastries, fruit and freshly cooked hot food, everything you could want and more. This is an excellent find and I hope to return again. Can't fault it! Thank you.

As regular visitors to the Priory Lodge we knew what to expect. However, the level of service and quality of food never drops below excellent. Quite simply we would stay nowhere else in Newquay, The commitment of the owners (Judith & Fiona) is second to none and the 'family' atmosphere created is brilliant. Our son loved the pool and the family entertainment. One huge plus is that they take bookings 'any day to any day' so we always arrange to miss the horrendous Saturday traffic on the A30 by travelling on Sundays or midweek. Minor point - Wifi only available in the common areas, but it's free. Would have been happy to pay for it in the room. Bill, Sally & Adam

Room Tip: All rooms excellent but you can ask for a room with a view over the Atlantic, or one facing the pool

We have already booked for 2015, 12 nights again. We had the large superior family flat. It is a fantastic family space giving us plenty of room. The view from our balcony was second to none. Fiona and her staff made us as welcome as they could and nothing was too much trouble, the food is all homemade and a brilliant selection on the menu.
I and my wife and two daughters can not wait to return and are counting the days down already. The position of the hotel is very good within minutes you can walk in to the center of Newquay or a few minutes longer and you are down on a beach.

Room Tip: Pick one with a sea view it is well worth it. The pool rooms or flats are ideal family spaces.

This place is amazing! Didn't want to write this because we may not be able to book a room if we tell you how fabulous it is! Fiona, with the crazy laugh and nonstop energy, is a wonderful host. Our poolside room was ideal. The bar, food and general hospitality was perfect along with the location. Will definitely go back :-D :-D :-D

Room Tip: Room 25 :-D

We stayed in the Priory Lodge for 1 night of a 3 night Cornwall trip, and wished we'd stayed here for all 3 nights! It was the cheapest hotel out of the 3, and the nicest! Our room had a sea view and balcony, overlooking the outdoor pool and gardens. We also had a family room which had a double bed, one single bed at the bottom of the double and one single bed in another part of the room in an alcove, separated from the main part of the room by the bathroom. The decor was a little outdated in the room itself but it was cosy. The bathroom was a little small, especially the shower and like most hotels I've seen, could have done with a few shower shelves to save bending down and smacking your bum against the wall/glass! Had a wonderful sleep, and the room was a lovely temperature, not too hot! Breakfast was lovely and the service we received in all aspects from the hotel staff was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: We booked a family room which gave us 4 beds and a balcony with a sea view

We arrived at Priory Lodge a few hours earlier and were greeted with super friendly staff who checked us in straightaway. Everyone in the hotel has been warm, friendly and helpful.
The location itself is already perfect and we were suited into a lovely family room with private balcony and superb view on the sea. Couldnt even dream about better room. But that wasn't all - the cherry on top of the cake is the heated swimming pool! The whole family enjoyed it to the fullest extent.
We are all very pleased with the experience and would definitely recommend Priory Lodge to everyone. We will no doubt return soon for another stay!

Thank you very much to all of you!!!
