“lovely weekend”
Reviewed 25 June 2013

Traveled by coach and because we travelled with my sister and her husband with special needs
I phoned a few days early and explained to the manager, ( John ) and he was brilliant and saw to all our special needs.
The food was very good and the service was quick and intentive, the salad table choice, with different
meats and side dishes very good, and I would recomend to give it a try, choice of main menu and sweet excelent.
The evening entertainment was very good every night and the prices of the drinks at the bar was very reasonable to other hotel that we have visited,
Give this hotel a go you will not be dissapionted I know,
You will come accross alan brilliant fellow who wtll make you stay a memorable one.
Once again I am looking foward to return to the Glendevor.

Room Tip: Picked a downstairs rooms and was handy for my familt needs

Booked last minuet for a friends birthday weekend away and couldn't be happier! For the price we paid it was fantastic. The location was great our room had a lovely sea view and we were literally a 5-10 minuet walk from all the towns facilities and main bars. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the 2 staff we were checked in and out by were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole stay was lovely. A late key was provided so we could come and go as we pleased after hours which was good to have and breakfast was tasty and served quickly too (Just what we needed after our night out!!) Overall a brilliant little hotel. We may well be back before the summers up....

Wonderful hotel, stayed here during may bank holiday ( two 23 year old girls) had a fab time at the hotel, lovely staff who looked after us all weekend. Nothing was too much trouble, we checked in early, plenty of secure parking (which is free!) and free wifi in the hotel. The night porter was fantastic as was the manager and of course Alan! Provided us with entertainment all weekend! Great location, the hill really isn't that steep, so close to town center yet no noise at night. Really easy to find, great breakfast, lovely room with plenty of tea/coffee, freeview tv and absolutely immaculately clean. We will be returning to Newquay soon and we wouldn't even look anywhere else. Everything you could possibly need is provided at the Glendeveor and such great value :-)

We stayed here from Sunday to Thursday with a coach trip from our dancing class. The hotel was a friendly hotel with the management and staff making an extra effort to make sure everyone had a really good time and had everything they wanted, The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was good and served promptly as they took peoples orders prior to the meals which was a good idea when there is a coach trip. There was entertainment every night and a good time was had by all.

In September my partner and I spent five days in the Glendeveor Hotel in Newqay, we had stayed at this hotel five years previously and had been very impressed by the standard of the cleanliness and service provided, on returning after all this time we wondered if things had altered. We are pleased to report that the experience was a good as ever. We stayed in room 57 and it was spotless, the room service couldn't be faulted, the menu at meal times was varied and the food well prepared and tasty. The staff were helpful and courteous. The only advice we would give would be to consider having quiet background music in the evenings instead of visiting entertainers, because early on there was hardly anyone present and when the people started to come in after a night out they seemed more interested in talking among themselves loudly than listening to the entertainers.

I slipped and fell out of the bath whilst showering, a bath anti-slip mat might be a good investment.
