This is such a cool place in an amazing spot! We had an early dinner and ordered the fish platter that you cook on a hot rock. I had the biggest scallop I have ever seen, yummy prawn and a really fresh and generous piece of salmon. The meal was 5 *and reasonably priced. There's a really great atmosphere here...if you're in the area, don't miss out!

The beach is lovely and as the tide goes out it extends into the bay, with further beaches cut of by the tide becoming available. Surfboards, body boards wetsuits etc all available for hire, and slightly cheaper than some of the nearby beaches. Snacks and bar menu available, though it was limited availability as we visited on bank holiday Monday, the day after the beach rugby which had decimated their stocks. Clean toilets. My kids enjoyed the surfing and jet skiing and this was a really memorable day out. Car park above the beach not too expensive, but their are steep steps down to the beach (unless you use the zip wire).

Firstly, just want to say that the stairs are not as daunting as described by other reviews. They aren't too steep and the steps have wider steps in between which stops you from feeling like it is a steep descent.

Beach is small but beautifully kept and is far more sheltered then other beaches along the coastline. We were going to do the jet skiing on offer but the activities on hire there shut at 5.00 and we had arrived at 3.00 so didn't really leave much time. We just ended up hiring a surf board and wetsuit for our eldest. We also didn't get to eat at the highly recommended restaurant as we weren't hungry at that time.

It was fun to watch people overhead using the zip wire to get on to the beach. I think the cost to do this is £20.
