Stayed for 4 night stay. Reception staff friendly. Stayed in a disabled caravan. Arrived slightly early than allowed but our caravan was cleaned and we were given the key. The disabled caravan was allocated parking and situated infront of one of the parks. There are a few parks which is good. Nice location, could be a bit noisy from the road behind but not too bad. When we arrived the heating and television had been left on?? No problems with the cleanliness. Was very happy our beds had been made already. Very helpful. One niggle is the path by caravan 81, could do with a clean. Because of the moss it is quite slippery. Could cause an injury at some point.

Had dinner from 'catch of the day'. Chips not proper chip shop chips, don't waste your time if that's what you want. Prices are reasonable but I wouldn't recommend. Staff a bit miserable. Menus confusing, 4oz burger (doesn't state veggie, chicken or beef but apparently is limited to beef). Chicken burgers not proper chicken.

Visited the swimming pool for the 'inflatable island'. There was a big queue but it moved fast. Plenty of life guards too which is reassuring. Pool was cold. Not enough toys for kids to play with, perhaps they want you to pay for that as well. Shower facilities not brilliant. Also 50p for a locker that's non refundable? Why?! When you've paid for your holiday this should not be extra! Pool can be quite dull without the inflatable island that is only on the itinerary a few times per week.

Location good for crealy, newquay zoo and kidzworld, all of which I can recommend.

Me & my daughter had a lovely break, just home after fabulous week here, great destination & recommended for couples or families as lots to do here... a little something to keep everyone entertained!!
If you fancy a day out its a great central location for some of the best beaches in the UK. Watergate Bay, Rock, Perrenporth, Blue Bar at Porthtowan is a must also & Newquay with its many beaches!!
Evenings we stayed in the bar, played pool and cooked in the caravan. Highly recommended and missing Cornwall already

I have stayed at this park for 7 years on and off and this has to be the worse ever.
We stayed in lodge L41 a 4 bedroom lodge with all the family and to say the lodge needs updateing is an under statement.
It was clean and the beds, pillows where lovely but there was only one blackout blind the rest was broken abd been taken out, also the fridge freezer was a joke enough for 2 lots of milk but that was that,it is so dated and crying out for a make over we payed top prive for this for a week.
The swimming pool was cold there was a cold water pipe running into the pool to keep it top up as for over 6weeks there had been a leak they did find the leak in the end but 6wks a bit of delayed action.
The jazzuzi i,m not up with these things but i sat in there for over 1/2 hour looking at the foam building up with what looked like skum in the foam and around the edges yes now realize should have got out straight away but i was told by the pool attnant that was normal well no its not because i contracted thrush which the doctor has now had test reults back that he feels confirms it was due to baterier from the jazzuzi which is something i have not had in over 30years so yes i am angry that at my age the chances are i got it from a dirty jazzuzi.
The whole park was very short staff but plenty of secriuty staff that needed to see your pass every single time you left and re entered.
The club house again crys for updateing and the toliets well they was disgusting and no one saw anyone replenish the toilet rolls/hand soap/hand towels and one night from 6 o clock onwards someone had been sick and that wasent cleaned up all that night even tough reported by quite a few people
On the whole the holiday was a sham so much so we came home a day early i have never ever done that before i work very hard for my holidays and you can read all my other reports ive never had cause to complain but hand on heart i feel parkdean are to busy selling caravans and promoteing the caravan sale and not looking after there own fleets of caravans and lodges its a shame they will lose custom i would defo recommend to anyone to go private for a caravan much higher standard and cheaper

Really had a great time, lots to do for wife and little one who are not so keen on fishing. Time to visit Newquay and nice to fish a match or two. Tackle shop was well stocked and nice to have a cafe by the lake

This site has new caravans which are immaculately clean. The indoor pool is good and the entertainment in the clubhouse excellent-especially for children. The shop on the site is well stocked and reasonably priced. Two things let the site down-Bar staff are very poor, they disappear regularly so service is at times none existent. When you are on holiday the last thing you need is to wait an eternity at the bar!. Secondly the toilets in the clubhouse are a disgrace. Paper towels are strewn everywhere, no sign of Management checking. Haven't Park Dean heard of hot air hand driers. Overall a site to be recommended if you are taking children- possibly avoid if you are not. Management need to get a grip on the above mentioned matters.

Room Tip: Check site map -some caravans are a long way from facilities

We stayed here for the Easter weekend and found it to be quite a nice place, caravan was of a good size and standard and clean.
There was plenty of play areas for the kids.

The only thing that lets it down is feels a bit short staffed and disorganised, examples are bar and chippy, felt like you was forever queuing

All in all nice park

We stayed at white acres and had a great time. We use it as a base for travelling around the south west. I would recommend staying in an owners caravan as they are more up to date than fleet vans and are quite a bit cheaper than booking through parkdean.
It is a paradise for fishermen/women and my husband and boys are in heaven, while I enjoy travelling around with my daughter.
The site is quiet and although we're not keen on the entertainment in the clubhouse we enjoy the Bingo. The restaurant can be good on one day and not so good on another but had no problems on this visit.
