Stayed at the Kallacliff Hotel from Saturday 9th to Monday 11th August 2014, location is brilliant overlooking Lusty Glaze Beach and a short walk in to Newquay town centre. Hotel was very clean, room was very comftable overlooking the bay, Liz and Colin were the perfect hosts, great choice for breakfast. Already looking to re-book - The Spencers

An excellent hotel in a great position just 10 minutes from the town centre. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a good selection of toiletries thrown in. Breakfast was freshly cooked every morning and delicious. I particularly liked the fresh fruit and yogurts along with full English for the other half. Liz and Colin were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. By the end of our stay we were totally relaxed after a great week. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Liz and Colin couldn't of be more pleasant and friendly they are excellent hosts that go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and as accommodating as possible. It was more like staying with friends as they made you feel so welcome and relaxed. Our room was room 8 which had a magnificent view of the sea, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
A hearty breakfast was served each morning in the conservatory which also has beautiful sea views. Although we had come down for a family wedding with other members of our family I would also recommend this hotel for couples who want a romantic weekend away.

Room Tip: Room 8 is the only one with a small balcony

On arrival we were greeted so warmly, and given a fresh pot of coffee. Our room was no 6 and it was spotless and welcoming. You could tell the ownwers really cared for their guests, small touches like shower toiletries and downstairs in the restaurant scissors were also included with sachets of sauce(Invaluable if you have ever struggled to open sauce sachets.)Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed at the hotel for the evenings enjoying the lovely view and a couple of drinks with Liz and Colin. It was obvious to see how much this couple enjoy their hotel and guests, even Liz's son was great ,playing games with a small child one afternoon(Not many 19 year old boys would do this)For any one wanting an excellent hotel which feels like home please go to Kallacliff, you will not be disappointed.Oh and the breakfast and cream teas are excellent. We will definately book here again.

Room Tip: Room 6 has 2 windows one looks out across Lusty Glaze, very quiet area, and no problem with noise from...

Excellent position (away from crowds ) near a beach.

Excellent hosts

First class breakfast.

Large comfortable room

Bar in the lounge which was homely and attractive.

The main town was about a mile away and other very attractive beaches a short drive away.

Room Tip: Ground floor room was huge. You must be a dog and cat lover

This was our second visit to the Kallacliffe and Liz & Colin made us feel like family nothing was too much. Their hospitality was excellent, Liz's cooking wonderful at breakfast, Colin's serving and chat wonderful. Rooms spotless, good nights sleep. Lovely views, lovely beaches, only a short walk into Newquay. Will definitely be back. Spotted the dolphins nothing like Blackpool.
