First of all before I comment on the apartment, I would like to thank Kim the Holiday Lettings Manager, as we had problems with the TV, she came round immediately and sorted out the problem even bringing her own small portable TV in case the TV did not work.
My wife and I travelled with my 18 year old Granddaughter and her 18 year old friend.
When we went round the back of the apartment block where our entrance door was, we found the apartment block to be very shabby, with rotting sheds, bench that had fallen apart and rotting wood covering the drains, not a good first impression.
When entering the apartment we had to open all the windows and patio door as we was met with a very musty smell.
Windows had not been cleaned in a long time as they were very dirty.
When we pulled one of the settee out, we found sweet wrappers a cork and other debris.
As the apartment was supposed to be for 4 persons there was only 2 folding dining chairs.
The main bedroom was very small with not much room to move around the bed, it had a small wardrobe with one draw. entrance door to the room did not close properly.
Twin bedroom had no wardrobe, but two draws under the bed, but one draw was broken.
Not enough storage space for 4 adults.
Furniture in the living room was old and not very comfortable, needs replacing.
Bathroom was very nice and kitchen OK.
I would not recommend this apartment for 4 adults.
We stayed here with our friends and 2 children, which was cosy, but made it great value for money. The apartment was very clean and well looked after and in a perfect location for visiting some amazing beaches. It is only a 5 min walk down to a beach which have amazing- rugged cliffs, caves, rock pools and golden sands. We went down at low tide and collected fresh mussels to take back and cook one night and fished for mackerel of the cliffs at high tide. We will definitely be going back again soon and will certainly be staying here.

We had a wonderful holiday with two children aged 3 years and 1 year staying at Penhallow Court. The flat was clean and well equipped and was in a great location close to Porth beach. The tenpin bowling at nearby Porth hotel and the 'fun pool' at Newquay leisure centre were a great distraction on the rainy day. Stairs up to the flat mean that pushchairs are better left in the car. We will definitely return again.
We booked this place for October half term 2013 and will definitely return. We found the location was ideal for us being a stones throw away from the beach and near a very family friendly pub. We also enjoyed Porths bowling alley which was a 5 minute walk away from the accommodation. We thought the property was reasonably priced and child safe/ friendly.
