The rooms were very clean and well presented. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and a healthy fresh fruit salad with yogurt cereal toast tea and coffeee. Mark and Paula are friendly and helpful. The beach is fab and within a 5 minute walk. The surfing tuition is good and effective. We were both surfing stranding up on the first day - after a fashion anyway. Excellent fun from start to finish.

Returned for a second year to find all is still great! Friendly welcome, lovely light, airy and clean rooms. And the location remains quiet yet central. We were also surfing with dolphin surf school - part of the same family - not all of the other guests were. This is a lovely b&b to suit anyone - except stag and hen dos thankfully!!!

Stayed at Trewinda Lodge again this year. Consistently good service, spotlessly clean,
and very friendly, but not intrusive. The nearest beach is just a couple of minutes away, as well as some nice walks. Very close to town and amenities yet in a lovely quite street.
Breakfast was included in the price and was very nice. Fresh fruit salad (made with fresh fruit not tinned) Warm Croissants, toast, cereals, yogurt etc.
Room had on suite, T.V. comfy bed, also tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits.
Family run, with much attention to detail and cleanliness, with a nice modern feel.
Will be returning again soon

I stayed here with my boyfriend after the bank holiday weekend and it was such a delightful experience. The B&B is excellent value for a money, our room was spotlessly clean, light and modern with excellent facilities and the breakfast was fresh and extremely tasty. The location is really convenient, right next to the beach and town centre. We also took a day of surf lessons with Mark, which were amazing. We're already planning a trip back.

Rooms, clean and tidy, good healthy breakfast.
Location, 2 minute walk to beach and 5minute walk to city centre.
This lodge doubles as a surfing school (Dolphin surf school). Our instructor, Mark, managed to get me standing on the board in under half a day.

Accomodation contemporary, very clean and comfortable. Close to beach and town but far enough away for noise to be of no issue. Breakfast very good, fruit salad and warm croissants highly recommended. Surf school available with Paula and Mark, worth a try if you feel sporty. Excellent tuition for all irrespective of age and ability. Paula and Mark are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a good one. As a family we always book here as it is our absolute first choice. It is also quite near to many other tourist attractions and restaurants, with Jamie Olivers restaurant 'Fifteen' at Watergate Bay 5 -10 minutes away.

Trewinda Lodge was a lovely place to stay. It is a family run bed and breakfast, adjoining Dolphin Surf School, also owned by the proprieters. We were able to learn to surf and lodge at the same place. The rooms are clean, and the service is friendly. There's a real homely feeling and we'll definately be returning. Plus the hot croissants in the morning before getting in the water was great! Literally a 1 minute walk from the beach and 5 minute walk onto the main strip...
