First the good bits.....

Location is superb, a 2 minute walk down the hill and you are at The Central Pub.
Very tastefully decorated, very rustic/surfer..ish...
breakfast was ok, if you like to sit around a big table with other guests.

Andy looks like Patrick Swayze from point break!!!

Now the bad points.....

If you book online, through their website, you get what appears a choice of which rooms to book, we clicked on the deluxe room, which clearly shows the attic ensuite room in the photos..... upon arrival..... there's a couple of "deluxe" rooms which were not the ones we "booked".... be warned... the rooms are ok, but nothing compared to the deluxe attic room.....

Not the cleanest B&B in the world
our bed was stunning to look at...... the mattress was Awful......
I hope the owners read this, because with a bit of Effort and rethinking the website, this would be a great B&B in Newquay!!

Breaks is luxury B&B in the town centre of Newquay. It's more of a small hotel than B&B.

It has been decorated in a very trendy style which nice touches such as a free DVD library and lovely organic toiletries.

Breakfast was excellent and round a big table where it was nice to chat to other guests.

We were in the front bedroom which was lovely and very comfortable. The only caution would be that some more conservative guests mightn't like the fact that there is no actual door on the loo - just beads.

Breaks is exactly the way hols accommodation should be going in this country - small, cosy and trendy and without the traditional hallmarks of B&Bs like angry landladies and crimpolene counterpanes.

This B&B only opened this summer and what a gem it is. It has been fitted out in a rustic, seaside style with a very homely feel, and this makes a refreshing change to most accommodation in Newquay.

We stayed in the fantastic ensuite attic room and had a very relaxing stay. Jan & Andy, the owners, couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, including tea & cookies on arrival. Breakfast was included in the price and was as good as the stay. They even offered babysitting for our little one so we could have a night out!

If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a great B&B for Newquay, I would definitely recommend Newquay Breaks.

My children and I (aged 8 and 5 years) stayed at Newquay Breaks for a three night break in July. The couple who run the B&B have just set it all up - and it was great!

The room and ensuite was lovely, chilled and really clean. The bed was extremely comfortabe (and hand made!) Breakfast was great, plenty of it and good home cooking. The owners (Andy and Jan) knew a lot about the local area, helped us plan days out, booked our tickets for the Eden project and could recommend some good places to eat in the evenings. They also helped to
advise us on where to get surfing gear and just went out of their way to help make our holiday a relaxing one. My sons loved staying there. It was a good family place to stay and we were made really welcome.

The B&B was about five minutes walk from the beach, so we easily managed surf boards, buckets and spades without having to get in the car. This was brilliant because it's not always easy to park near the beach. The surf was great for kids and there was plenty of rock pooling and a cafe nearby to keep us entertained.

I was really keen to give my sons a special start to our summer holiday. We had a really good time and this was largly because of the warm welcome and comfortable stay we enjoyed at Newquay Breaks B&B. I'd thoroughly recommend it.
