The view was excellent
Once we got into the apartment (as the instructions & codes we were sent were incorrect) we found the apartment was not very clean, floor was very dusty and dirty under the dining table and other areas, there was mould on the kitchen bin and yellow stains on the bed pillows. when we arrived lots of kids came running out with dirty linen cleaning tools etc.. obviously using kids to clean out the place.
We reported that the DVD didn't work correctly - normally we get a couple of new films to watch when the kids have an early night. Halfway through the film the DVD continued to cut out - had no response from the maintenance man so chased him up, he said he was waiting for permission from the owner to buy a replacement (which never happened). When I returned from holiday I contacted Bluechip where I booked the apartment and they contacted the property manager who said he had fixed the DVD by replacing the fuse - LOL.
There was a broken shelf which had previously been reported thankfully. but still not repaired so was fearful it would fall off the wall totally so had to keep kids well away.
Never had to give a bad report on a holiday before, I am normally easy going and expect somethings not to be perfect as most people would. For what this apartment costs though, over £1200, then I have stayed in better for half the price.
