Well what can I say - what an amazing weekend! We stayed at Mowhay for the weekend to celebrate my 40th Birthday. Ann was warm and welcoming and always on hand if we had any questions (recommended a fab Chinese that we had delivered to the Barn!).
The Barn itself was gorgeous and very spacious for the 7 of us in our group.
We walked from Penvose Farm down to watergate bay which took us about 25 mins - this is on the road though so something to think about if you have little ones. There is also a bus stop directly outside the farm if you prefer to hop on the bus.
Would also recommend the coastal walk from watergate bay to Newquay.
All in all a fabulous weekend, and will definately be returning in the future!

Beautiful and spacious barn with everything you need and special touches. So lovely was sad to go home! Good wifi connection and the log fire was amazing!!
Nice views and lovely to see the sheep and lambs just outside the window! Excellent parking facilities. The barn was spotlessly clean,bright and airy. Will most definitely return one day.

We stayed as a group of 7 for a weekend. Had a fabulous time. Clean, bright rooms with plenty of space. Everything you need in the kitchen. Beautifully laid out. Friendly helpful owners. Although very close to the airport, you don't hear it at all.
If you need a taxi while staying here, book well in advance and expect them to be late! Not the accommodations fault, but useful to know.
Highly recommended place to stay!

Lovely barn conversion approx 1 mile from Watergate bay. This is self catering and had everything you could possibly need including a barbecue, which we used for my mum's 75th birthday celebrations. Within a 20 minute drive to Padstow or 10 mins to Newquay. Had a wonderful week, great weather and couldn't ask for better hosts than Ann and her husband, and not forgetting their adorable cat Tommy. Will definitely visit again. Thankyou Ann and family. PS looking at booking the single barn conversion for the autumn.

We loved our stay in Mowhay Barn - there is so much to do on the Cornish Coast. The house is well equipped, clean and was spacious for our big family.
