“Lovely apartment, well equipped, good location”
Reviewed 12 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely apartment, it is a really lovely apartment. It is well decorated and had everything you need for a weeks stay. It is a perfect location for exploring Cornwall. It is a short walk into Newquay and a short walk to Fistral beach, crannock bay. There is a parking space in the carpark.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and Joanne left some lovely shortbread biscuits and tea and milk for when we arrived. There is information on nearby restaurants, supermarkets, attractions.
The shower is nice and powerful and hot.
We had no complaints and would definitely stay here if we visit Newquay again .

“Great location for Newquay and to explore Cornwall”
Reviewed 18 August 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Just a few minutes walk from Fistral Beach this apartment offers an easy walk into central Newquay but also parking and a fast route out to explore further afield.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well stocked with kitchen equipment (including a very much appreciated cafetiere).

Jo provided us with all the information we needed to find and access the place, as well as a supply of tea, milk and fudge for our arrival.

Being a ground floor flat without cross ventilation, the bedroom can get hot in the warmer weather. We found that as long as we opened the window a bit before bed, and took the duvet out of the cover so that we were just sleeping under a sheet, it was perfectly fine.

“Fistral beach holiday”
Reviewed 8 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This flat was located approximately 5-10 minutes from Fistral beach. Ideally located if you do not want to drive and park. En route we passed a wonderful cafe situated overlooking the entire length of Fistral beach, and they served wholesome food and drink as opposed to the chippy/burger stuff we tourists are supposed to like.
The flat is one bedroom and is spacious, well equipped and really pleasantly furnished. We had everything we could possibly need provided in the kitchen, TV had a range of channels.
The little patio had table and 2 chairs so we could sit out if we wanted to. The only downside was the passing of some traffic which we could hear as this was a ground floor flat. Our daughter had bother locating the place as Pentire Road is quite a long road, but we got around that. Apart from these two points - there was a pleasant comfortable feel to the place and the allocated parking was really useful.
All good.

“Nothing to fault - amazing”
Reviewed 11 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We have had such a fantastic week at Tre Lowen. From before we booked, Joanne has been swift to respond to emails and has answered any questions we've had about the rental before we arrived. In the final week before our trip, Joanne sent us an email with the information we would need for our stay.

When we arrived, we were pleased to find that the apartment had its own parking space and were so impressed with the cleanliness of the property's interior. The apartment is on the ground floor of an attractive, modern apartment block and is light, tastefully decorated and equipped with absolutely everything we could need, including bedlinen, towels, Cornish milk in the fridge and a complimentary box of Cornish clotted cream fudge - we got the impression that Joanne has an eye for the fine details! The kitchen is stocked with plenty of pans, baking trays, crockery and cutlery for 8 people, a gas hob, oven, washing machine, microwave, fridge and freezer and was a pleasure to prepare food in. This was just off the living room, which has a really comfy leather two-piece suite, attractive dining table with wicker chairs and television with a Sky box and DVD player. There is also a vast and varied collection of CDs for use with the HiFi system, which also works with Bluetooth or USB, which meant we could play our own music, too. The large glass doors open in the sitting room open onto a little outdoor area with a table and chairs, where we enjoyed most of our meals; it was a real pleasure to dine al fresco as the weather was beautiful while we were there!

The bedroom has a large built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, double bed and television. As the weather was so good, we did find the bedroom quite hot at night and couldn't work out how to use the Thermostat, but I think we had a fairly exceptional week in terms of the warm weather. The bedroom, bathroom and living space were all immaculate when we arrived.

The property is literally five minutes' walk from the beach, two minutes' walk from a newsagent's and around 5 minutes by car from a large Sainsburys, a Morrisons and the centre of Newquay - the location is fantastic and made our holiday even more enjoyable as we hardly had to use the car. Fistral Beach has several restaurants and shops, as well as the opportunity to learn how to surf, Stand-Up Paddleboard and much more. There are also lots of lovely walks along the coastal path and one around the Gannel Estuary ending at the Fern Pit Café - this walk is one we would particularly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We are so grateful to Joanne for making sure that the property was so clean and well-equipped and for making the rental process so easy for us. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property to couples looking for a conveniently located, good value property to rent for any length of holiday - there really is everything we could have needed! Cannot recommend enough, fantastic in every way!
