“A J Munnings was correct in my opinion....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

This place is full of paintings by artists that when they paint a sky it looks like a sky and when they paint a tree it looks like a tree. Today's exhibition was full of works from the Newlyn school and the Lamorna set. I have been disillusioned with modern art since a young boy and the art snobs that coo and garr over it. If you want to see real art by real artists and subjects that represent real people who look like real people then this place is for you.

“Nice Gallery - and Cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

Display of local Penzance art and history was on when we were there - very well curated and enjoyable. The cafe on the main florr was popular, and it is set in a garden that is worth wandering around.
