“Fantastic! Great views and modern decor.”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The bell tower is a lovely apartment and the top of a quirky spiral staircase. It had great views, and was right in the centre of town. The facilities were great, modern and very clean. I would recommend this stayz to anyone (who could climb stairs!)

“Great stay for a perfect balance of things to do and relaxation”

A charming 2 bedroom apartment with a wonderful view of Penzance Harbour and perfect location, we couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay. Tastefully decorated, the apartment has all the essentials that you need for your stay and offers a great deal of comfort proving a relaxing haven. All rooms are spacious. Both bedrooms have bathrooms, one has an en suite with a shower and the other, which was my favourite had a shower and separate bath, which was a bath with a view, very much appreciated for the relaxation it provided following many beautiful Cornish coastal path walks. The location of the apartment provides great access to various attractions and walks including; St Michael’s Mount, Lands End, The Lizard, Sennen Cove, stunning Gwithian Beach, St Ives, the Eden Project, the Minack Theatre in Porthcurno and many more. With so much to do, our week seemed to disappear far too quickly.
We enjoyed eating out and cooking in some nights also. The apartment has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which was excellent for sociable cooking and dining. There are many eateries including some smart looking restaurants in Penzance and various places that seems to do a dine early discount menu, not to mention the number of pubs offering good quality pub grub, so plenty of choice for whatever you fancy. We were partial to a visit to the Admiral Benbow Pub (literally a 2 minute walk from the apartment), also the oldest pub in Penzance the Turks Head just up the road and liked the Dock Inn, which had been renovated since our last visit. For a relaxing drink with another wonderful view of St Michael’s mount head to the Gig bar at the GoDolphin Arms in the next door town Marazion. At the other side of Penzance is Newlyn; being a town and fishing port meant that this was a regular place that we walked to buy fresh fish.

We had a brilliant break staying in the Bell Tower, have recommended it to our family and friends and would definitely stay again.

“A very Happy New Year”
Reviewed 15 January 2014 for a stay in December 2013

Lovely apartment, spacious, clean & well equipped. Great location. Highly recommended for a couple with 2 children or maybe 2 couples as both bedrooms have en-suites. Brilliant for out of season exploring of Cornwall. The apartment is very comfortable and caters for all your cooking needs with local shops, pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. I loved it so much i want to keep it quiet so that we can visit again on a whim but that would be unfair to those of you who are looking for a great apartment in a convenient location - book it without hesitation!

very beautiful property. tastefully decorated and centrally located. we enjoyed our visit to Cornwall during the off season. Staying at this apartment magnified our enjoyment. Just make sure you park in the right spot and close the bottom door. Also get driving instruction to get into property prior to trying to get there without instructions. We enjoyed The union pub and were served a great meal and were fortunate enough to hear some yarns from Howie the manager. I love off season travel. People are more relaxed and eager to tell you things about Cornwall read up on yourHistory of Cornwall to really get the full impact of a pirates life in Penzance. only thing wish they had wifi but we found wifi in the union pub
