We returned to this excellent restaurant again, we had a couple of different dishes that we had never heard of before they were both delicious. You have to bring your own alcohol, so I enjoyed some Breton cidre with my curry, my partner bought a soft drink. Service and atmosphere are both very good, probably because people eating excellent food are usually happy.

There are two curry restaurants in Penzance. This had been recommended by the locals we asked for "directions to the nearest curry". We were not disappointed. Service was welcoming, friendly and unobtrusive. The restaurant is "little" so I imagine a reservation would be in order in the busy season. I had the Garlic Chilli Chicken Tawa which was superb and the wife had a veggie Rogan Jhosh. All properly done and not over spiced in the "English" fashion. Excellent.

I went for the Chicken Balti Jalfrezi. It tasted great, nice little kick to it. My girlfriend had tarka dahl and bombay aloo, which were the vegetarian side dishes. She very much enjoyed the bombay aloo but said the tarka dahl was bland and could of done with being a bit warmer. Naan bread was crisp and fresh. Staff were very friendly. All in all a lovely meal for a reasonable price.

Called in on Saturday night after being in Penzance. Looked very busy so thought it must be good if the locals eat there. Got the mixed kebab starter and the sheekh kebab was the only thing with flavour that would expect. The side salad was mostly onion and was so overpowering. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and a lamb rogan josh, the masala tasted only of coconut. It was so strong you could taste the chicken or any of the spices. The Rogan Josh was like lamb stew. The service was great and quick but overall a huge disappointment, very overrated and priced for the food delivered.
